Beautiful choral singing. Accurate and solace-filled interpretation of the prayerful lyric/poem. Sublime and inspired violin playing. Choice blessings to the Mercer choir.
Coming across your RUclips and seeing you all in masks reminded me of how things were just 2 years ago. In ways only a short time ago. I hope it brought you all great joy in preparing it. I know you brought much joy to others...
If music is not evidence of our living God, then I can not find evidence of any other thing. Where could music come from if not from our Heavenly Father.
Ignore the masks and listen to the words and the melody and I must say It sounds like angels singing and I have never heard this song sung in such reverence and respect. Though I agree that if they sang without the masks the sound would have come out much much cleaner but it's not like we cant hear what they are saying May God help us to look past the masks and listen to the beautiful hymn of praise and prayer and comfort🙏
Yes great singing and very good music, but the wearing of the mask's is ready not good, it shows these people have allowed themselves to yield to just a crazy thinking, breathing in one's CO2 back into one blood stream is madness. Those mask's sure as hell would not protect one from Covid-19, and I know what I'm talking about. I was a Collision Repair Tutor for many years teaching at a Technical Institute in Dunedin NZ, which also involved car painting teaching safety, those masks stopped nothing as we and the Otago University Medical School research medical Student's found out in a research program on Two-pot clear coat paints that used hardening agents to cure the paint.
Brenda, singing causes more air and particles to be carried farther. it's called being respectful of others; it's called science; it's called common sense. Do you "conform to this world" when you obey stop signs, follow the speed limit? It's thinking like yours that makes this world a dangerous place.
Splendid hymn of praise and comfort desperately needed in the world today, Beautifully sung !

Absolutely beautiful. A most comforting song.
A lovely video--a gorgeous arrangement sung beautifully. Kudos to Augusta Schubert, the violinist, whose last name could not be more appropriate.
Merci pour ce moment de grâce...
Beautiful. The violin accompanying the singers adds just enough to bring me to tears.
Just beautiful. Wonderful voices singing in such a lovely place, a blessing to all who listen.

So beautiful and one of my favorites. I'm a Tift College alumna and was fortunate to have been in the choir all four years. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve never seen a choir sing with mask. Interesting.
Beautiful song though
Good little sheep

What a Christ like attitude you display...
I’m sorry but why are they wearing masks?

This looks like the handmaidens.. Sounds Beautiful but there is an evil presence..
The social distancing insanity 🙄🙄🙄
Nutty, singing with masks, madness
So sad that they wore masks. They were all social distancing. Do not conform to this world...😔

I agree, the singing was muffled. Is this how Jesus's disciples would have behaved? Mockery.
Does this whole covid reaction look like science to you?
