    Such a cool idea! Must have taken a lot of maths to make sure the circumference was the right size for all the buttons, and to make sure you had enough of each colour. Beautiful! Fun idea. The coconut charcoal flour was such an interesting thing to use in there-- never heard of it but it looks amazing! Thanks for the video.

    I think it would be nice to cover them with charcoal and let it dry and grind it all together.

      @@Comingwings Yes, it can be done, but I'm worried that if I turn it at the same time, the button will run out because it is only 1 mm thick.

    I wonder how that construct will fare with the seasonal expansion and contraction of the wood. It’s very nice looking but the size of the wood base is prone to problems. Would love to know how well it stands the test of time.

    You always get close to your pattern but your process has errors and they show up in the finished product. I’m sure with time you’ll get this worked out.
