I figured it out around 23, but it would have saved me from a lot of mistakes to hear it sooner. I'm almost 32 now and I'm just trying to be better tomorrow than I was yesterday and today is my chance to make a change.
i was fucked off from 14-30 .. im almost 33 now. been sober for 2.5 years. started jiu jitsu 5 months ago. its wild to think about how many different lives I could have had. its crazy for me to watch stuff like this because i came from a 2 parent house hold. raised in church... we werent rich... but I had virtually everything, especially compared to some one like jaob. it didnt matter. By 14 I felt nothing but resentment and all I wanted to do was escape. I didn't have enough self esteem and always compared myself to others so I couldnt even escape in my passions.... they all just became unfair judges that cursed me. drugs were the only thing that made sense in my life. I hope my body can regenerate. been sending it for the last 2.5 years. 2 years of barefoot running 10.5 min miles on 5k down to 7:50. last 5 months in jiu itsu, up to 3 sometimes 4 days of training. go 2 days a week at 6am. so far so good. also, kendama is crucial to my recovery too at this point, lmao.
dude you can tell you're gonna be a HELL of a coach and corner man in the future. the way you see the game and know it as you call others matches proves you have the mind for competition and strategy. keep training and building up that skill set Spatch
