Hello, We are Sherry, Heather, and Mary, also known as the "Alaskan Bears!" We live in Fairbanks, Alaska and we have decided to share our adventures with you!

I am catching up on your videos while I work on some indoor prep for the storm. Tomorrow will be the outdoors prep. The forecast has it coming right over me and I am pretty stressed about it. Your videos are really great source of comfort right now. Thank you 😊

Winter is my favorite season
I really do love the winter. I get so excited with the first snow.
Happy Friday, Bears 🐻🐻🐻 I bet you are doing something fun tonight .... First Friday activities 😊 We appreciate all your videos and all the time you put into making them. We actually look forward to the winter videos ... love the snow and all the homey activities, craft shows, etc. Always feels like we are spending time with a friend. Poor Heather. We went to the dentist on Wednesday ... trust me, there is no bigger chicken then me at the dentist. Reprieve ... no cavities for either of us but the hygienist wants us to start using an electric toothbrush to help with the gums receding ... said it has a pressure gauge or something so you don't brush too hard. Well, anything to prevent dental work 😊 Have a wonderful weekend. 💜💜💜
Happy Friday to you, although you may not get this until Saturday. I really wanted to do First Friday stuff but we had other plans, but of course we vlog everything. The first Craft show will be tomorrows video 😅 and Monday Measures should return this Monday, LOL. I am surprised Heather does so well at the dentist, she hates needles. Yeah, my dentist wants me to start using an electric toothbrush with a pressure gauge, same thing, my gums are receding. They were doing really good, but bad habits are hard to break. Oh dear… seeing the intro of the fireplace I immediately knew winter is here (at least through my eyes). You know 65 is freezing for me so golly you guys have an amazing cold temp tolerance level.
65 is my perfect temp, I melt at 72 😅

✍Hello Alaskan Lady Bears. Loved the intro of the fireplace. Your dogs might be just like my little Havanese🐾 She loves fresh water with a small piece of an ice cube in her dish of water. Snack is so pretty and its cute hearing him sing...that's great that your cockatiel could possibly live till he's 30 years old. People are seeing more into of what's taking place and affecting them personally and are hoping their vote will count to change our country and get it back into some kind of normalcy...we hope !! I don't mind the house being warm but like to sleep in a cool room. I sleep better when its cooler and even put on my little personal size fan. Thank You for sharing "those snippets" of your lives and creating a digital pen pal friendship. How is Liefs shoulder and arm healing? That's funny that your patient got even with ex wife by blowing that train horn really long and loud...ha ha ha but sad you had to listen to it at 2:00 in the morning. When my girls were little all the kids wanted to be at our house and that always made me happy. I'm an only child and my parents weren't happy about kids coming to our home. But I made sure my girls, friends felt accepted and had fun when they came to our home. I did expect them to act accordingly but not to the point of feeling uncomfortable. Our homes in the neighborhood were all brick cape cod homes and somewhat close together. So they had the upstairs rooms and so did the neighbor girls. Well...they didn't have cell phones back in the 70-80s so they got a very long piece of heavy string or rope and ran it thru a shoe box and would pass notes back and forth late at nite in the summer and I'd give them treats to share or trinkets and Avon Samples etc. to share just to make it a lot of fun for them. But one time they forgot to put the shoe box away and my husband was cutting the grass between the 2 homes and got hung up with the rope...ha ha ha !! Well its late. Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! Hello Joyce! Kip doesn't like ice cubes, which is strange, Beean loves them though. And yes Snack may just well live to be 30! That would be great, we love having him around, he is so funny. I do hope we get some good people in office, things are so turned upside down right now. I have been sleeping great with my room at 61 at night. And a fan blowing on me, I am old enough, my hot flashes are gone too! Leif needs his shoulder replaced, we will findout more next week, thanks for asking. Oh I love the shoebox thing, My friends and I use to do things like that too! I actually started selling Avon when I was 14! I sold it until I was 44 and moved here to Alaska! I was an only child too, but we had lots of family, so tons of cousins that were like brothers and sisters. God bless and hugs from us Bears 🥰🍂🧡🐾🐾💕

Cleaning out the chimneys in F 32:23 airbanks was an even bigger pain in the butt. Quite a racket to. Every year, open houses suffered severe fire damage because of the chimneys. Around this time is when we were doing final preparations in anticipation for the oncoming winter. The last time I was in the fields they were frozen over. Still looks wonderful.
It's sad how many chimney fires happen here. I am glad my fireplace in gas. I do need to get my furnace serviced though. I really want to walk Creamer's more in the winter, maybe even cross country ski.😉

Hello ladies. Boy can I relate to going get bread at Costco and 100 dollars later we leave the store lol. I didn’t know how long those birds can live. Wow! I do have a cat that’s 23yrs old. He’s lives outside his entire life. Can’t keep him inside lol. He’s still kickin so yeah your bird may live a long time. Never know. ❤. We are finally having cool nights but that’s about it. Take care sweet ladies. Catch ya in the next one. Ps dental work sucks. Ughh. It’s my turn next. Wish me luck.

Wow! Under 100.00 at Costco? We did a 140.00 mini haul plus 10.00 for a pizza. But NO to! We voted by mail, so no stickers for us. How long can a governor serve there? Oh, Larry is wondering if you are wearing your Tigers shirts. I read PFD’S came out? We are looking for your first video. Have you met Tyler’s family as of this video? Do your sisters mind being on film? You weren’t blabbering. We enjoy just enjoy hearing you talk about what’s going on with you and in AK. We would do the same from FL. We only went for bread that was the problem!!! Ack... 😅😝 A governor can serve 2 - 4 year terms here. And they usually do. Oh I should dig out my Tigers shirts to take to Michigan, LOL. My PFD went to pay some out of control bills, they are gone. I have been trying to stay home, the traffic is insane! People running red lights and acting stupid. I know Tyler's Family yes. I don't think my sisters mind being on video, that is some story there too. I keep forgetting to call the furnace guy. They get really busy this time of year 😥 All good things to talk about on video thanks!

Electric toothbrushes really help prevent cavities. I would think about buying some.
I haven't had any issues with my teeth since I started using a waterpic and electric toothbrush years ago. I have been trying to get the girls to at least use an electric toothbrush, but they won't. Mary hasn't had any issues with her teeth. Just Heather...
I live in Texas, we're in the 60's at night and 80's in the day. Sorry y'all are so cold already. You pups are so nosy, lol.
Maybe we will go to Texas in February, LOL. I will need some place warm to go by then 😅😉❄
Have you ever tried the powdered buttermilk? That's what I use and it works great and alot cheaper. I like it because it doesn't spoil on me, just make enough when needed. Glad to see Mary still smiling with Tyler gone for awhile. I bet they FaceTime alot.
I do use powdered buttermilk for recipes, it makes them much tastier. Mary and Tyler do FaceTime a lot 💕❤🥰
Dental is so expensive! I just spent $2500 for a root canal and one small cavity.

Fireplace done! I am always careful. my hands are my livelihood. I have not heard of Lassey Health. I have looked into dental plans though and most are basically having you pay into what they pay out. 2 of my sisters are in Michigan, the other is coming from Tennessee. I just hope we can all meet up at the same time. A Ermine is a weasel, yes, that is what is in my yard, it has been off and on for many years. Thank you and you take care too! 🍂🧡❄🥰
