Funny that you mention expanding the metal from Wolverine's body during the rebar scene. The comic panel that the rebar is a reference to does exactly that. Magneto effectively liquifies the adamantium and removes it thru his open wounds. He did survive somehow, but it was thanks to Jean who held his body in together with her powers and his healing factor went into overdrive so much that afterwards it stopped working for a while.
PG-13 movie, I don't know if comics actually have a rating system but the description that you describe and the doc describes would make the x men movie rated R
From being cool to the Wolverine character that Hugh has carried over the years, it's really epic that you understand the moment to really delve into the knowledge of Dr. Jordan's work by watching it. Seriously doc, your channel is very good.
6:11 in the comics and lately in a cartoon, Magneto ripped the metal out of his body, through his skin, he almost died from it Also Wolverine in that movie at that point in time didnt have his metal skeleton yet, so he had regular bone claws
Wolverine's claws are in between his Ulna and Radius Another Edit: In the comics, Wolverine's claws were an attachment he could wear, they then updated his anatomy to where his claws come from muscles in between his Ulna and Radius
Youre edit is wrong, its a popular misconception. He always had internal claws but originally they where implanted. It wasnt until 1993 when magnito ripped his metal out that it was revealed they where bone underneath. When coming up with the character the idea of attachable claws where floated around in the early conceptuals but never implamented. This misconception is so wide spread that even the google AI thinks its true...but its not. People simply thought this because of the protruding metal on the gloves.
@@PsychoMoFoGaminghe’s not fully wrong though in the animated xmen Logan and cap work together in ww2 and he has a pair of claws he wears on his hands and says how useful they are
@@PsychoMoFoGaming wasn't the metal on the gloves done to keep the wound slightly open, making it so it didn't cause pain as the claws were forcefully pushed out?
Expanding wolverine's internal metal (instead of rebar injuries and him slamming against whatever surface) was actually done in X-men 2 when Magneto finds Rogue and Wolverine on a train together. It was a well-done, excruciating scene!
In this movie in particular the actor impersonating atleats the movements of the alike deadpool is Scott Adkins fun fact: they didn't nedded any cgi/pc to make the movements of him
@@DoctorER ya. It’s just horrible. He’s known as the merc with the mouth and fox decided to sow up his mouth so he could talk which beats the purpose of Deadpool.
El adamantium que trae Wolverine el esqueleto lo está matando por dentro debido a que es venenoso pero de no ser por su factor de regeneración habría muerto
1:35 Yes, while the ribcage doesn't go all the way to the front, it still should show the costal cartilages because they're also coted with adamantium, making it impossible for any xray scan to se through them.
Well, yes and no. As long as he’s still underwater and still drowning, he’ll remain brain dead. But if he’s taken out, then his healing factor will revive him.
Mr. Jordan Wagner, with oll respect to you! Thank you for this content (I'm sorry my English not werry well). В общем спасибо вам большое, очень приятно смотреть! And again thank you, and respect!
In the comics, his arms don’t have sheathes to store and guide his claws. When he pops them, they tear their way through his forearm muscles and out the top of his fists and when retracted, because of his healing factor, are forced to tear their way back in (often times in media, his growling when he pops them is a growl of pain). For this reason, he often, continuously pops them to keep the wounds fresh to make it easier and less painful to pop and retract them in battle
Yes, you could do quite a bit of damage to him by just expanding the metal in his body, but he would heal from that. He filled him with heavy metals instead and launched him into the water because not only would it kill him, but every time he would revive he would die again before he could do anything so he is basically dealt with so long as nobody else helps him out of the water.
When dr. Jordan Wagner pulled out the claws I couldn’t tell if it was edited or if it was a prop but if you look closely you can see the handlebars in his hands
The scene of him being burned I think was him experiencing one of the nukes dropped on Japan, I don't really follow the movies myself but have seen that one somehow (probably a "nukes in movies" video or something!)... :P
A quick comment about Logan’s claws, those are separate bones in his hands that were his original claws. Once the Weapon X procedure with the adamantium was completed on him, they were laced with adamantium.
Can you do more reaction to horror video games? I don't think you reacted to Circus Baby killing Elizabeth Afton or her brother getting scooped by Ennard. Maybe some Poppy Playtime like Huggy falling down in the factory or the idea of people being merged with toys? There is also the scenes in Bendy that I think you can react to
Awesome video! Will you do a video covering the injuries Deadpool gets in Deadpool and Wolverine 🤔? If only we could heal and regenerate like they could. Lol.
Could you do a video on how Wolverine's Adamantium Skeleton would effect things like how muscles, his breathing, the way his body would have to adjust just ti function with not only the added weight, but the fact his bones are now coated in metal and how medically all these factors may effect his everyday life OR even of you had Logan come into the ER one day the type things that may happen
Awesome! I really do have to watch Deadpool 3 a second time! :D But one question: what in the multiverse is 5:35 about? I don't remember Hugh as a king who shows his inner Wolverine. xD
The thing is in Days of Future past magneto literally almost killed wolverine by putting him in the water because just like us humans. Regular humans wolverine needs oxygen to heal himself so as long as he's underwater he can't heal
7:20 - There was an entire episode of Grey's Anatomy("I Saw What I Saw", season 6 episode 6) based around the missed diagnosis of this. If you ever decide to start reacting to full episodes again, that'd be a great one!👍
6:43 Yeah I have a question: inThe Wolverine, Logan is burnong by a bomb. But it was not another bomb, it was the Nagasaki bomb. A part of the burning damage, Logan could have suffered radiactivty?
All the Deadpool and Wolverine movies were great, but I would love to see you react to injuries from the show Supernatural. The show is about 2 brothers who hunt supernatural entities, it’s a great show and it would make me so happy seeing you react to all the injuries.
I think it'd be funny if you reacted to Claire Bennet's injuries from Heroes. She has Wolverine's power of self-healing, so she gets injured quite a lot.
Hey man I have an idea of a series injuries you could react to. Ever seen the punisher series in Netflix? That might be interesting. Thanks for taking the time to read this have a good one
thanks for all the info doc but we dont need too much because...we all know damn well wolverine can heal himself except for that one movie logan in 2017 he died by a tree bark
In the comics and cartoons, Wolverine’s healing factor is directly tied to another iconic ability of his. If he takes too much damage at once, or if he takes continuous damage over an extended period of time, his healing factor will actually go into overdrive and make him temporarily invulnerable. But as a side effect, while Wolverine is in this state of invulnerability, he goes completely crazy and can’t tell friend from foe. This is his Berserker Rage ability. Have you encountered anything similar to a berserker rage in your career, Dr. Wagner, where a patient is so insane with rage that they literally can’t feel physical pain anymore?
If I remember correctly, the fe logsn claws are 3 additional bones in his forearms that he can extract and retract but in his words it hurts a lot when he does that, and quite a good heart rate for someone who has already lived 200 years xd
For the record when magneto wanted to hurt Logan he removed the adamantium from his skeleton with force. But ya impaled with rebar and expand it suddenly would probably work to

Drowning is one of the few things Wolverine's healing factor can't do a thing about.
Во во. Мёртвый от утопления - и есть мёртвый. Регенерация тут бессильна
I think he dies but then comes back but cant breathe so dies again and again forever until he's retrieved
