- In today's vlog we go to Knotts Berry Farm in 2022 for Jim's first ever time at Knotts Berry Farm and my 2nd time! I got to ride a few new coasters that I didn't get to ride during my first time at Knott's Berry Farm. Overall a super fun day in the park!

Ghost Rider was retracked a couple years ago I saw. I think they took out a brake run. They had added because the ride was getting rough over the years. Now it runs smoother and keeps the speed more constant. Adding back a lot of air time the ride had when it first opened.
I worked at Knotts from 1996 to 1999. It was then called Bigfoot Rapids. I was a member of management. Back then there were two waterfalls and you literally got drenched. If the first one didn’t get you. The second one did. An Estop was activated hence the ride drained. Most common reason was too many rafts accumulating at the end before going back up to the station. In those days 4 rafts was the max number. If a 5th one came into view, then the main dispatch tower activated the Estop. I am surprised no operator was at the bottom ramp instructing riders to remain seated. Thanks for the video. Sure brings back a lot of great memories working there, then at Disneyland and finally Six Flags.
You have to do hands up on the front row of hang time! Now that’s a thrill!
Long time season pass holder here. Go early when the park opens & go on Ghost Rider first. Whatever the wait time is, it will get worse as the day passes. Then hit Pony Express, the line moves fast. Then walk through the boardwalk. Hang Time line also moves fast, but the wait time can get long as the day passes. Xcelerator line is always long. Most people go there first & the line can be crazy long. Next up, Silver Bullet which has a super fast line. I recommend riding this one from the front, way better experience. That usually our path. Start at the left with Ghost rider & swing a circle right through the best rides 👊🏽👍🏽❤️

I've watched so many videos about fatalities on river rapid rides! The water drains immediately for emergency situations, like if a boat has overturned and someone is drowning underneath it. I think I'd still take my chances lol

Honestly Knotts is pretty much always busy unless it’s an off day. If you want to make Ghostrider your first ride of the day you have to be there before park opening.

That’s crazy! Never seen it this insane unless it’s Scary Farm during Halloween. I’ve been coming to knotts since 1998. Ive seen it packed up to capacity but never seen the line that long lol. When was this?

i went to knotts on a school trip. my teacher blacked out on silver bullet LOL. saddly i was apperently "too short" to get on that one but i went on the crazier rides like hangtime and silver bullet. most of the rides were closed :(
Ghost rider is one of my favorite rides at Knott’s berry farm.
I swear if you and Jim come down and do universal Orlando Islands of adventures again I swear I would love to meet you too and do the hulk and the mummy and the hagrid's motorbike with you two it would be a honor to do this rides with you really in honor because I love you too I love watching you both on the video I swear it would be an honor to do a video with you too.

Damn, I really need a re-ride on Ghostrider. It was an absolutely amazing coaster from what I remember, but I wasn't much of a coaster enthusiast back then, and I was sitting in row 2.Also, out of curiosity, Silver Bullet or Patriot?

That’s a tough choice. It’s been many years since I rode Patriot so I’ve forgotten what the forces feel like… If I have to choose I’m going to have to pick Silver Bullet
@@AdventuresWithAlex St. Louis is really fun you will also see some badass roller coasters and their lot upside down roller coasters but most of them ant but it’s still a good park you got Batman mr freeze boomerang and the fire ball and also Ninja those roller coasters goes upside down

Yeah, I like the little drop but I don’t really go on it because of the leg thing. I went on it with my dad, and his legs were literally SMASHED. He had bruises on both of them.

Tips for some riders at Knotts
SilverBullet: This looks TERRIFYING but in reality it’s so easy.. This wa sky first big roller coaster and if your scared.. DO IT
Ghost rider: If your keeping your eyes closed KEEP THEM CLOSED chances are you open them right before the drop and that happens to me.. SUPER DUPER FUN THO
Sol Spin: It looks TERRIFYING LIKE U MIGHT PASS OUT! TRUST ME I was almost crying in line, ONE LF MY FAVS EVER you don’t feel much and it feels like your flying!
Log Ride: THE DROP IS SO FUN.. There is an unexpected drop in the middle but it’s a not bad and everything else is just going straight also there are no seatbelts just a rail on the side BUT YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO HOLD IT
