I have the Bachmann GP40 with DCC and Sound on board that was released sometime last year. I must say for an N Scale model the sound is unbelievable! I may get this Locomotive as well. This time I think I’ll go with the Union Pacific paint scheme.
I got a small round set as a kid for I think Christmas, loved it but we had to return it bc of something. Now as an adult I still want it & to get more
Bachmann does not use the Blomberg M trucks that many roads have for 'new' models. They keep using the same Blomberg B style as found on the straight GP38 models.
@@paleo704 Well, one point about the trucks is like saying you bought a Toyota online and when we got the car delivered, it was a Ford with the Toyota emblem. You got sold a car believing it was one thing and turn out not to be that. Even if you did not know the differences between cars and their details, you have enough common sense to realize that something about the item just doesn't look right or seem to make sense.
@@paleo704 I believe that Bachmann needs to grow up and realize that "we" modellers and railfans are not Stupid. We can spot the details and know if a company is just lazy (not putting the effort into corrections with updated molds).
@@crsrdash-840b5 I completely agree. Why bother getting an expensive Bachmann that uses parts that are both old and un prototypical for the model of that price when you can get a cheaper atlas or Kato locomotive that runs better and looks more prototypical
Need help!!! I just bought a high Ballers train set N scale I am missing some wheels and 2 cuplers I don't know what to get I see metal 33" I don't know what that means
I agree. Seeing Bachmann come out with an HO scale Nacionales De Mexico SD40-2 gives me hope that they'll start releasing Mexican paint schemes for both HO and N scale.

This is a great start for my revamped N scale Marriott Hotel Railroad to go with the HO scale Hatteras Island National Railroad.
I have 2 ho bachman Santa fees,I love them,and never have any troubles out of them.they run well together.thank you for a good product.
