I'm not sure if you even do these Class Analyses anymore, but if so, do you think you'll cover the Warpriest? I've been creating one over the last couple of weeks and have a pretty solid build, but I always hop on here to see if you've added your cents in!
I like how 99% of Pathfinder 1e builds you kinda need strength, dexterity isn't to be neglected either, constitution is always needed, intelligence is very useful on skills and feats, it's always good to have a reliable wisdom, and don't neglect charisma. So yes, no dump stat.
I've found that the Slayer makes an interesting choice for the Red Mantis assassin prestige class. You are encouraged to have a bit of a combination of strength and dexterity, which allows you to utilize your skills as an assassin and be a solid enough target even after your initial sneak attack. That and having solid physical stats makes the mantis transformation ability that much more effective. I think the suggestion I'd make is to build for dual wielding and take Iron Will to shore up your will save. I have not gone with Stygian slayer or any archetype - just pure slayer. So far, he has been a very effective murder machine though the will saves are painful. It's been fun and flavorful, though.
A nice breakdown. I'm planning to build a Slayer focused around the "Spear dancing style"-feats wielding a halberd. It's a whole lot of feats and not necessary the most effective slayer, but it's going to be cool and that's what matters.
I'm going to make a request. I/we love your content on pathfinder, but I'd like to make a class request, well pretigue class. I'd love to see dragon disciple or shadow dancer.
@@NinePillar Lol, personally I like the slayer the most. They are flexible in play style, and are pretty good even without magic. I'd say they are also a pretty good class for beginners too.
You might be thinking of swashbuckler which is a combination of fighter and gunslinger. It has a pool of panache and deeds. On the other hand, slayer is a combination of rogue and ranger which has sneak attack damage and an ability to study a target for bonus damage.
@@d6damage93 you're literally responding to me about two different things: fighter and gunslinger is not the same as rogue and gunslinger. I been doing this since the crib. Go back to sleep 93. || ETA No you're right. But I'm keeping my comment because I take accountability for my bitch. I don't have my folder with the original character sheet and details for the catfolk Slayer with the info in it anymore because thieves and fvckers getting in my house being CVNTS. Sorry. Crackheads what can I say? I keep reporting them to cops and child welfare but they don't seem to listen. And it impinges on memory of events.. many apologies. I don't apologize for my crazy though. Bound to be crazy with constant attack by outside forces that have quite literally stolen your life, children, empire, etc (made millions off me not even kidding or exaggerating) with no honor among thieves. Really should watch that movie....
The Slayer class always has a place in my heart due to the fact that it allows you to sneak attack with a greatsword.
Hell yeah. Always love when a new from yall comes out
Thank you very much for watching.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I haven't done a Warpriest video, it's an oversight on my part.
If i had only one reason to keep playing PF1e it would be the Slayer class. All-time favorite class!

Been looking to add Slayer class levels to a Green Hag to make her a nasty assassin. Then today I see this! Thanks!
Malthael was the first thing I thought of when you mentioned the scythes and sickles trait :)
My favorite class in pathfinder
So, Ranger-Rogue
Yes, its one of pathfinder's hybrid classes after all, and a pretty good one.
Question: Will you be making a build video with a Slayer? Your build videos are awesome.
Maybe if I come up with a good enough build.
I'd like to see a video about the sniper archetype
Berry nice
Would you please do the Investigator? I did one that used a pepperbox and dealt more than 400 damage per turn.
I had a player use this class almost right after it came out. He had a lot of fun, and I had to do some rebalancing. 😝👍

Having covered all of the core classes and most of the hybrids, I could start doing some analysis of the prestige classes.
Oooooooooo, the best class?
You're thinking Inquisitor 😏. Regardless, I'm stoked to watch this. I've been thinking of trying Slayer!

I want to try slayer or soulknife but I can’t find any videos on soulknife
Isn't Slayer a combo rogue gunslinger that has both rogue and gunslinger skill???
Maybe I'm stupid and don't remember properly but I'm pretty sure that's how I rolled
Actually yes that's how I rolled
I'm in an alternate universe again or some shit
