Sending Text Message(SMS) using ESP8266-01 | DHT11 | IFTTT

This video will demonstrate how we can send a text message using the ESP8266-01 wifi module. So here I am using the DHT11 humidity and temperature sensor to find out the sensor value and send the sensor value to a registered mobile number as a text message.
Requirements:
#1. ESP8266-01 wifi module.
#2. DHT-11 Humidity and temperature sensor.
#3. IFTTT.COM for configuration.

Good video. However it is not working with ESP 8266 (Node MCU - 12 E module). I am unable to connect to IFTTT (Web hook) from programatically from Arduino. However, it works on the test link provided by IFTTT. Is any thing changed at IFTTT end to connect to Webhook. If required i can share the code.

Hi, tried to deploy this myself using NodeMCU. While I am able to connect to ifttt , am not getting the sms from the Arduino code . The serial monitor of Arduino IDE is showing connected to ifttt and print the sensor data. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong.

you have given a link to install esp8266wifi modul but when ı download it and add it to arduino, #include written on the arduino but that should be #include as written in your code

hello , copy and past the ifttt at web browser working fine and i get the sms but if run from the esp8266 ... it gets ip but canot access the ifttt !
the spi says: connecting to maker.ifttt.com
connection failed
any idea why failed ? !
Please check with the credentials you are using for IFTTT. This might be wrong .
Can we do this using Nodemcu...is it required to change the code??

I am using mqtt pubsubclient for a mqtt project in which I have declared WiFiClient ethClient; PubSubClient client(ethClient); client.connect, client.loop, client.publish and so on.
I have tried to use your code in this same project and because your code have WiFiClientSecure client; it didn't work, how do I go around that? Thanks in advance

No friend it can't be possible without using the internet. You can use GSM to send direct SMS.
To send the message we need pay for that or free of cost we can send the message

Have you tested manually in the browser? event name should be same as you mention in the markers settings.

@@RAHULGUPTA-kr9df Indian user may try JIO works perfectly. And other sim i have not tried. Please give more try because we are trying to get SMS from server which is located outside of India. So, we have some restrictions.

Hey friend If you are using internet from wifi modem then you need to provide wifi name and the wifi password. If you are using mobile hotspot/tethering you need to provide hotspot name and hotspot password.

Yes definitely. Write the whole code in loop section and in *IF* clause send a request to the web hook after you find the limit values.
