Nicely done Riki. Il leep that tactic in mind going forward...must admit every time i discern a game is lost 2 mins in on stream i end up getting proven wrong....WOT has a special way of making you look silly lol I dont mind cap circles but i do think they should only unlock 5 mins into the game to stop early caps.
Great vid, Riki! And an excellent example of when and how to daze and confuse your opponents! This deceptive move is known as a "feint," and real-life militaries have used it since time immemorial to trick an enemy into believing you're doing one thing while you're actually doing something completely different. I employ this tactic all the time while playing WOTC because, just as in actual combat, it works! I especially appreciated how you were very clear in explaining that using a feint to appear like an attack on the enemy's base is NOT the same thing as simply capping the enemy base! After playing well over 60,000 battles in this game, I have often wondered whether ANYBODY has a clue about this tactic. I've attempted several times to explain it to other players for literally years with very little success: it seems that damn near everyone who plays WOTC honestly believes that they are a brilliant military strategist and tactician, and that they know what they're doing... while it's painfully obvious that they don't! But, perhaps at least some of these wannabe Pattons and Rommels will listen to YOU and heed YOUR advice. It would make playing the game a helluva lot more enjoyable for everyone who plays it! Thanks again for your efforts to help us all improve our gameplay! Rock on!!! 👍✌️
Well done sir. I really enjoy the tutorial type vids you post. I've followed the advice given and it does have an positive impact on my gameplay. P.s. I'm not a very good light tank driver though.
@@Rikitikitavethank u, getting killed here in almost all matches, double digit xp’s. Also curse that hv1007 , could u pls do a video on how to tackle that as well.
Cool 😎 I, for my self, hate the siren 🚨 😖😅 so I'm thinking other's aren't liking that sound also. So I drive in and out of the cap, just to annoy them, maybe one of them comes chase me and is not in his own game any more 😅 You talk about the new player in the centurion I think 🤔 maybe you could show the new player's how to deal correct with lights in situation's like that in a other video? Tank You, keep the content coming 💪
Excellent video Riki I would say in recent memory one of your best to bad more players don't think like that or play the tank like it's supposed to be played and not be afraid of scratching the paint
I agree! But, I also believe in making the best out of a less-than-desirable situation, hence my remarks above. And using a feint to confuse, distract, and/or force the opponents to react to it is Battle Tactics 101... it's one of very few aspects of this little kids' toy tank game that even remotely resembles actual combat in real-life. In fact, this tactic literally forces the enemy to react (which disrupts their previous plans) because if they don't try to save their base and they just allow you to sit in it, they lose! Of course, if the red team has several of their tanks already within close proximity to your base, and you try to trick them into retreating to save their own base, they will merely fill your base with more numbers than you have, and they'll win. As Riki mentioned in his excellent video, a feinting move doesn't always work, nor should it always be used in every situation. It is a bit of a last-ditch desperation gambit. But it's a damn sight better than doing nothing and losing a losing battle anyway. As the old military saying goes: "A good plan now is superior to a perfect plan later." So, until WG manage to extricate their heads from their asses and actually do away with caps altogether, employing a feint when and where appropriate just makes logical sense.
This is the way - if the enemy is not doing what you want, do something to make them react to you. Starting a cap is a good tactic. Great game Rikki you snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
He Riki, GG on that game 😊 Did you also notice that the game behaviour of Cold War players changed the last 9 months or so 🤔 It has become the same play style like WW2 sitting in the back watching, not moving. Era1 is still the most balanced part of the game. My impression is that a lot of new players don't know where to or what to do, not having basic right at all. When i play a light tank, i always ping where i gonna spot . Capping the base can work, like in your clips. But a lot of players are rushing to the base, and Capping even when there is still half team alive and a lot of Hp still available 😂 for Moe..... Maybe you could do a beginner guide. Just the basics so player's dont run anymore like heedless chicken around 😂
Great video Riki!🙂

Great idea on the captures! I like that idea!
Great game, and great tactics!
Whenever I play that tank that’s exactly what I do.
Cap siren drives people crazy and stop being rational.😂😂

Not sure that it was the cap pressure, on the fence but good video
I cant stand cowardly teams that immediately post up to hide at spawn. Those clowns always lose the game.
You single handedly saved that match!

Nice strategy there. That did look like they would have won that early on.

I harass the cap when the enemy is pushing a flank and winning.
No caps would be better for the game in my opinion always team destruction would be better.
