- Bun Loan- Yes, mi quang isn’t in their name but dont let that stop you from ordering up what I think is the best bowl of mi quang da lat style in all of Vietnam. Loaded with pork, pork, and more pork, I think all my pork lovers can enjoy this bowl of noodles.

I love Da Lat, it is probably the best place on Earth for me. Air is cool and clean, and the people are nice and filled with passion. Almost every food and drink shop I go to in Da Lat, the owners carry such love in their craft. They often ask you how the food is and sometimes even try to adjust the flavour to your liking. Every place you go, you see love for living things, be it plants or animals. I love seeing all the doggos being so chill and happy whenever they are in Da Lat.

I thought I have seen enough foreigners review Viet food but you literally and figuratively kick it up a notch. Will check out Bun Loan once we are back to the pre-covid.
My mom is from the central region of Vietnam and I grew up with mi quang. I remember her version had a little bit less broth but this version from Da Lat looks amazing!
Lúc nào cũng hóng video của em. Chị rất thích cách ăn của em, lúc nào cũng ngon miệng, cảm xúc chân thực, những đầu bếp mà em ghé ăn sẽ rất tự hào. Em trở thành người Việt Nam thực thụ rồi. I still remember the My Quang lady s parents when they used to own a small restaurant near the Dalat train station ( Ga Dalat ) . It was one of the best MQ and BB restos in town . For me , Dalat is the most romantic place in VN . It was the city of my First Love . You are lucky to choose it as your home base in VN
Personally I believe that Hoi An is the most romantic city in Vietnam, I think it’s the most romantic city in all south East Asia. We all have our own preferences. Hoi An probably does it for me because of the old French architecture and cobbled streets . Very romantic sitting in the evening by the river in a restaurant with all those Chinese lanterns.

Mì Quảng Đà Lạt is way different than the original ( "Quảng" means Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng province), it has lot of broth and more sweet... but i have to say that Bún bò at the beginning was really stunning! Looked super good!

Really enjoyed this video (amongst others) and like the way you describe the various ingredients. Listening to the birds sounds is a plus to enjoying meals in Vietnam. I sure do miss visiting my relatives in Lai Thieu, Binh Duong. Waiting for this rotten virus to di di mau outta here so we can once again travel back. In the meantime, I will continue to watch in envy. Thanks.

Interesting to see the different versions of foods. My wife’s aunt has a mì quảng place in Định Quán (Đồng Nai province). It’s amazing but quite different than what you get in Da Lat it looks like.

I 'm stuck in SG because of covid. When I'm in a stifling room, and covid was hurting me so bad, what I really missed was my home in DL. I guessed I think that would be my safest place on earth. I have been working in SG for 4 years and never wanted to go home. But at that time I did. Even when I lost the sense of smell, I desperately wanted xắp xắp and the cool air there. I cried alot while watching this vid. Thanks for letting me feel like I got back home ;__;

There use to be a couple of ladies that sell mì quảng in Cẩm Đô (near the corner of Tản Đà and Phan Đình Phùng) and for 500đ back in the 80s you can get a bowl without meat, but the ladies always gave me extra daikon, which is great. Now I order mì quảng every where I see it just for the nostalgia, but sadly Đà Lạt style is hard to find and when I do, it’s not always good.

Dù bạn đã có nói nó khác với mỳ Quảng nơi khác vì nó là phiên bản Đà Lạt và có vẻ bạn ăn rất ngon và thích nó, nhưng mình chỉ muốn nói mình là người con xứ Quảng và đây là món ăn có tính đặc trưng rất cao của quê mình. Mình thật sự không thích món mỳ này vì : nước mỳ luôn đậm đà thấm thía nên chan vào tô rất ít chưa tới 1/2 tô không chan nhiều như nước bún ,thứ hai không bao giờ trụng mỳ trong nước lèo như vậy, thứ ba không nên cho mắm ruốc vào mỳ Quảng vì nó không phải bún bò Huế .Ôi trời nếu ai đã đọc người Quảng đi ăn mỳ Quảng của chú Nguyễn Nhật Ánh rồi thì sẽ hiểu , và mình đoán chắc rằng cô chủ cũng không phải là người có gốc xứ Quảng ...

the original of mì quãng is Quang Nam - Da Nang ( south central coast Vietnam ) , which is a little different from that in Dalat
