This song came out in 1995 and 25 years later it still kicks ass
Demanufacture is a great album!!
Yessss sir!!!!! One of the goodies, crazy its that old. But still a song a can listen to and still love from that time.
Damn, feeling old now
Fear Factory will forever remind me of my 90s teenage years
One of my favorite songs to cover on guitar
Fun Fact: Fear Factory basically started the clean / harsh vocal trend that is now common in a lot of metal bands. They also pushed the envelope on double bass drumming by lining it up with the guitar riff (i.e. syncopated drumming) to give you that punishing mechanical sound, rather than the straight double bass that was typical of the heavier bands at the time. Super underrated band. Great reaction my dudes!
Fear Factory is fucking legend.
If you wanna REALLY get pendantic it actually started with bands like Cynic and Dark Millenium, but fear factory were definitely the ones to popularize it
*Godflesh
I'm liking this trend of Fear Factory finally getting more reactions.
ApostleInTriumph1 definitely. They deserve the recognition.
Right? Being seeing more of Fear Factory here and there on the reactions channels.
Fucking right!!
They got me into metal. Test Drive 5. Then SOAD hit and it was a wrap. Metal head ever since
Goddamn right!
Dino Cazares is imo , the best rhythm guitarist of the 90s through to the late 2000s. Dude is so tight and has such a distinctive tone his riffs paired with any drummer sounds like machine gun fire.
absolutlely, he is a Beast
Since you've started down the road to the Fear Factory you should also check out:
Ten Ton Hammer
Demanufacture
Zero Signal
Scorpion VS Sub Zero
(^yes from the Mortal Kombat movie^)
Self bias resistor
Pisschrist
Are a must
Pisschrist!
Ten ton hammer is machine head
Ten ton hammer is machine head..but awesome song choice
@@theOGnokk thank you I got the two bands mixed up on that one somehow. I actually had that album (the more things change) I don't know why I thought it was Fear Factory.
Yes. It’s mosh music. I broke my foot in their pit in 1995. Got the autographs I’ve everyone but big boy Dino.
Dude that must have been sick
Back in the day when I cared about hanging out, I would see Dino every damn time I went to The Rainbow on Sunset. Him, Steph from Deftones, B-Real, and a bunch of 80's hair metal relics like brett michaels (who had 20 women gathered around him waiting their turn).
I met them all except Raymond. Dino once, and Burton/Christian each show.
Fear Factory kinda revolutionized Industrial Metal. Btw big boy on guitar is Dino Cazares and has been rocking it for over 30 years.
Prong snap your fingers, snap your neck.
Underrated band, created a unique sound the way they use the kick drum
THANKS MY BROTHERS. I TRULY APPRECIATE YALL FOR HOOKING IT UP. NEXT U GOTTA DO ME ANOTHER BAND. MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME PRIMUS!!! DO MY NAME IS MUD! !! IT'S THE BEST SONG EVER. THANKS AGAIN FELLAS. IT WAS FUNNY AS HELL YALL SHOWING ALL THOSE COMMENTS...LOL. YALL MAKING ME LOOK LIKE A STALKER!!
Lol your good bro...we do this for yall
@@Hollywood6IX u gotta do that Primus, My name is mud. I kno yall like that bass line and this band is bass driven. Check them out!!
@@Hollywood6IX I second this comment on Primus, Les Claypool is definitely one of the top three bassists of all time in my opinion.
Raymond Herrera is a god on the drums with his double bass, many people thought it was a drum machine....but when they heard him live they were blown away
I saw fear factory 6 times in late 90s - early 2ks, they are kickass
Ian, the MVP for requesting Fear Factory.
I saw them live 3 times on the Demanufacture tour (this song was the first single), and they are still one of the best live bands I have seen.
Fun Fact..B-Real wears a Fear Factory jersey in the party scene in How High
If I am not mistaken B Real did vocals in one tune on Digimortal LP
@@oskar_oskarewicz yep. It’s “back the fuck up”
I remember seeing this clip when it first came out i was instantly hooked. Bought the album just for this song
Been a fan of FF for years and met them a couple of times. Good dudes....
Give Descent and Edgecrusher a listen.
Pionners of harsh/clean vocal style🤘
Filter - Hey man nice shot
anything by Skinny Puppy or Ohgr as well.
A Truly revolutionary band
That was great 'cause I've been requesting to other reactors for Fear Factory for the longest time and I had had it and I'm glad that someone finally reacted to them even though this is not one of their greatest songs still f**ing rocks, if you're ever gonna react to them again I'd suggest "Shocked" as option #1 and "Edgecrusher" as #2, just a suggestion but please take in consideration, thx guys now you rock too \m/(>_
Industrial metal from the 90s i am surprised i don't see black sabbath the originators of metal and slayer the originators of thrash metal in your playlists yet but i guess your ears are adjusting well for something like slayer anyways enjoy the ride cause in the 80s it was a very intense ride
Love me some fear factory
FF are heavy! No other world necessary :) I don't know, to lazy to check, but have you reacted to Anthrax & Public Enemy - Bring the Noise? Just a thought since you're rappers and likes metal :)
I'd really love you guys to slap a jam like "So did we" from Isis. Great concept album dealing with surveillance . I believe they toured with tool back in 2007. Just subscribed gents.
YES.....also YES and YES
ps (Definitely YES)
@@theedgeinshow yea.. I was hoping for a thumbs up from them lol
You got it my friend
Thier album Obsolete tells a story from beginning to end. Great road trip music
I'm gonna shoot this to Dino the guitarist, killer reaction man
Finally someone does a Fear Factory reaction fuck yeah
Anything by Fear Factory fellas. I fell in love with these guys in 2000. I don't think these dudes are incapable of making a bad song. Here it is 2021 and they are still one of my top bands. Don't let the hardness fool you because these dudes lyrics are real deal.
you guys are fuckin great! most of the bands you guys have been listening to were some of my first metal bands. Fear Factory rules! if i may make a suggestion for a future episode: Deftones- Minerva, Diamond Eyes, Romantic Dreams
For my bday in 1998, my Father bought me Test Drive 5 for my PS1. After beating some of the game, you unlocked this video and Fear Factory car you could race.
Best game ever
FEARFACTORY RULEZ !!!
Thank you Ian! This is the first time watching you guys cuz of FF! At least you guys understand your instruments.
You guys are pretty cool.
I love the “Chum Lee from Pawn Stars” reference 😂 y’all should check out Regenerate by Fear Factory next. It’s awesome
Still blast fear factory everyday! With anonymous hate of course..they did release alot of industrial mix CDs too
If y'all liked that you should check out "Zero Signal" by Fear Factory. It was on the original Mortal Kombat soundtrack.
Yo fellas! Biohazard “State of the World Address” is the first really heavy metal rap album. Highly recommended!
Love your name bro
Thanks! I love cars and music so it kinda fit, lol
@@MainelyW212 I was just watching star trek voyager yesterday.. lol. I totally forgot Tom Morello makes a little cameo..
One of the best metal albums front to back without a doubt! "Pride" is my favorite track. Keep an ear out for the drummer. Nasty!
Look up Post Malone/Biohazard- it's a fuckin trip
This is Industrial metal. Saw them open for Megadeth a few years ago. Great band. I'd recommend the song "Linchpin."
For Tool Tuesday you should do Schism
I like the Cody shirt btw
Thank you. I was big into bullet club
Smokey Rameriz same, I have like 6 shirts of theirs.
@@ivanvillareal6063 Sweet! Guerrillas of Destiny has some sweet merch also
Smokey Rameriz Yeah for sure, I really enjoy the videos btw
Bro's SEPULTRA " CHOAS AD" an" REFUSE/RESIST" is DOPE, video is AWESOME
Guys, when I saw Fear Factory live, it was one of the single most roughest mosh pits I've ever been in (including the Slayer/Slipknot show I was at). It wasn't violent or anything, just going through it was a chore. Lol. Their drummer is a freaking machine on the double bass.
You have just entered the rabbit hole!
The great Dino Cazares on that Guitar...nobody has a faster pick hand.
The tour for this album was the first concet that I ever went to. One on the openers was System of a Dow before thier first album was released.
Fear Factory is my all time favorite band I been listening to rock since I was like 7. They are the perfect metal.
You guys are cool dudes. You remind me of some dudes from my neck of the woods.. (A little older then me).
I hate reaction channels but you guys are dope!
This is the only FF I know. First two albums. Best ones hands down.
More Fear Factory
Another dope af industrial masterpiece from this era is Misery Loves Co. "My Mind Still Speaks"
"Big Boy" is Dino Cazares, the leader of Fear Factory
You should definitely check out the Remanufactured version of this song
I feel like an idiot. I watched your video on Dig by Mudvayne (first I've watched by you) and I suggested FF. I go back to my main page and what's in my recommendations...this video lol.
Dino (lead guitar) and I almost got ran over by Cincinnati police after their gig in '98 lol
One of the best live bands!!!
First, LOVE YALL!! Next, Fear Factory's Regenerate was playing on my Pandora, and I had to pause it to see If Yall'd done Fear Factory yet... Clearly I see that you have, but not this one and not their Collaboration with Gary Numan on Cars.... I Highly Recommend Both!!! I dunno how Yall feel about "Covers", but I fell it's just that much "Extra" when the Original Artist helps you cover the song!!
Its always fun watching the expressions changing on the reactor's faces when Burton goes from he raw vocals to his harmonies.
I remember buying this album as a petite blonde 15yr old girl, and the cashier just staring at me horrified.
Such an under rated band
Punk it up by infectious grooves😎👍🤘
love you dudes
I was dino's guitar tech for all of Devine Heresy tours including the Poughkeepsie show... all 3 singers. Check out Devine Heresy, Bleed the 5th.
Dino is a riff Beast!
Smokey is the one who looks like he really knows this music 😂🫡
Heavier than Grunge. They are Industrial death metal band. Yust the way we like them.
The dude on the drums is Gene Hoglan - they call him 'The Atomic Clock' and 'The Human Drum Machine.' Dude's literally a fucking machine.
Here's Gene slightly later in the 90's - this is 'Detox' by Strapping Young Lad

Living Colour cult of personality. You will enjoy it
Georgia boiz In tha houseeee! East Atlanta is my old stomping grounds. You guys should listen to some hardcore if you like the chuggy stuff. There has been a resurgence of rap core type stuff recently. Dropout kings - glitch gang. It’s fireeeeeee chuggy rapcore. I got plenty for you to listen to that youd shit a brick over. I used to book and do security for the masquerade we probably got overlapping friend circles. Keep it up fam.
Deftones
Yes! They need to react to Change (In the House of Flies)!
Check BRUJERIA - La Ley De Plomo with Dino Cazares (our "big guy") on guitar
This is something I've always wondered about. Fear Factory has this "sound", like they're playing around with vocals. It's like cutting a note down by one half octave. I hear it some other songs as well. Just to make a mental whiplash, Spice Girls Wannabe, around the middle part. Does that have a name?
One of my favorites
Fear Factory for LIFE!!
Nice guys! Check out "Ressurection" by fear factory
Fear Factory: Cooperate Cloning PLEASE!!
Burton C.Bell on Vocals!.....and fuck, never forget the Moshpits at their Concerts!
Fell in love with Fear Factory when I was a teenager and have never looked back. Stupid Dino the fat fuck had to mess it up, I hate they aren't together anymore. They are the only band I ever got a tattoo of. I want to slap people who ask, "what does that stand for, Foo Fighters?" Hell no it's for Fear Factory. Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory and J Mann from Mushroomhead are my two favorite vocalists in the world, two very different sounding voices, but also both completely unique. I met the band in 2003 and Burton C. Bell the lead singer was such a polite guy, been to more Fear Factory shows than any other band.
Y'all should check out their song
Expiration Date, great song and there's a reference from the iconic
film Blade Runner in it too.
Hey hey!!!!! You guys NEED TO CHECK OUT THE BAND JINJER!!! And the song you need to check out is either Captain clock live at wacken or Perennial live at wacken!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!!!!!!
Sounds a lot like "Prong " album " Claensing " !!!!!!! Check it out ! Its awesome , too !!!
You mentioned a severely underrated band. They are fantastic. The Cleansing is great, agree!
Do Decent by Fear Factory
While Fear Factory broke the mould by mixing the clean and harsh vocals, another group pushing the boundaries for you to check out is Archspire with the song Involuntary Doppelganger (official lyric video). Think you'll really appreciate the vocal delivery.
You Definitely have to check out Fear Factory-Shock
I love that one
Edgecrusher
I love me some Fear Factory y'all need to do Coal Chamber Loco
Listen to FEAR FACTORY - SCUMGREIF :LIVE AT DONINGTON MONSTERS OF ROCK CONCERT .
Ya know. It's not to bad. I don't usually jam to them.. I like the reactions.
Thanks bro...stay tuned for more
It's my other comment I wanna see some loving lol
fear factory feat. B-Real : back the fuck up ❤❤
Brujeria!!
Dudes...comparing Dino Cazares to Chumlee is fucking sacrilege bro....LMAO
Demanufacture is THE GREATEST METAL ALBUM EVER
Do fear factory: Timelessness. No other channel has done it. Love from Australia
They are considered melodic death metal fear factory is so sick been a fan for a long time 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is a great song by Fear Factory but I got one for you react to the sin in the sentence by trivium
This came out in 95 and it is Industrial Metal. The album before this Soul of a New Machine 1992 is actually a Death Metal album. Fear Factory is my favorite band. Check out the album Mechanize from 2010 it is heavy as fuck. Fear Campaign, Powershifter, Christploitation, Oxidizer. Those songs may cause death lol. This song Replica is the least quality song on the album and short. You should have listened to H-K (Hunter-Killer) or Pisschrist first.
You boys gotta get on some mastodon. Oblivion or the motherload which has a great video. All mastodon videos are epic
Another similar band you should check out is Scar Symmetry. Chaosweaver or Deviate From the Form would be good choices.
Sup fellas!.
Love your guys reactions! Especially Tool. I'm die hard.
U guys need to check out Third eye from Tool and do Deftones Passenger. Great song featuring Maynard
Industrial metal mate 🤘🤘🤘
This reminds me of high school
Deftones- bloody cape!!!
Also look up the Adele and fear factory Mashup. Its insane
