I had mine H1000 and not willing to upgrade to H2000, its like casio is good only in making new watches but not good in support, its like making a thing then forget about it, 1 good OTA update could change everything for the H1000, but they chose not to instead make another new H2000.

They make amazing watches & they absolutely do not make good or even slightly okayish apps. I won't play that game again.

I have the 1000 and enjoy its styling and basic functions. I also have a Fenix 7 Pro and Apple Ultra Watch. If I want real time evidence I use those… everything else, like a ‘beater’ at the beach, I use the 1000. I use the stop watch, timer and have the heart rate for stationary gym gear. That’s all it’s good for I have personally found.

The bad news is casio has absolutely involved itself in actual app development roughly .01% & it absolutely shows every painful step along the process. I love my casios but having just experienced the H2000 & all things casio app purgatory. I can say very safetly that casio will always be a great watch company especially in the areas of mudmasters , frogman , rangeman , yes even the GPS but I won't attempt any of their watches that require much if any contact with their apps. Aside from swapping alarm times, tides etc.

Totally agree. Their apps and lack of functionality is G shocking!

IT IS MUCH BETTER FOR CASIO TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN APPS AND OPERATING SYSTEMS SLOWLY THAN TO PIGGY BACK OFF GOOGLE CRAP THAT Updates to a new OS every 12 months and leaves its old hardware in the dust. This way casio can make sure their watches remain useful and relevant for years or even decades to come

Well at least they dont embellish what their watches are capable of on paper to make it seem their watch can do things it actually can't@@chriscoleman1151

Thanks for the vid! Casio’s websites are as useless as their apps so I wasn’t able to see the true differences between the two watches in an easy “compare” format. A lot of their similar watches just have “copy and pasted” information. This really helped me make my decision since the older model is $170 cheaper right now.

as for my own perspective....these 2 watch are great...besides they are both SOLAR POWERED, the GBD-H2000 has a good display on the altimeter/barometer and compass same with the GBD-H1000 these watches created by CASIO ..are really awesome watches..i have the GBD-H1000 for the past ore than 2 years and still in perfect shape on an everyday wearing ..then i got the GB D H2000 which is so light compared to its predecessor...and is also a great watch having those activities....overall.....a great watch to have ....a must!!!

as for my experience since i have the GBD-H1000 and the GBD-H2000, the GBD-H2000 is a little better, well both are good....the only thing is that i like BIG screens, like the GBD-H1000, the GBD-H2000 has smaller screen...thou it has more function than the other one...as you can see on the watch screen itself.

its really a good watch...i bought the H2000 was really amazing and long battery life....and many features compared to the H1000 which i also acquired long time ago...but both of them are really a complete watch to have as if like having a mudmaster and the rangeman worth the have!!!! and again....its SOLAR POWERED

likewise...i have the GBD-H1000 for more than 2 years and still in perfect shape then getting this H2000 which is lighter than its predecessor..has more functions....

the H2000 is like a rangermen 9400 but improved in every way. they should really sell a "ranger edition" with a stronger band since this watch covers many almost all the things the rangermen can do plus gps tracking and co-ordinates which could be useful if you are out in the middle of nowhere and you need to know your exact location on a map something the rangermen canot do.
I suppose that if you are in the military then the blue tooth is an no go but for anyone else i can't see the reason to go with a 9400 over the H2000.
The only headake that i had with the H-2000 is that yesterday for some reason it unpaired and the watch started tryting to connect to my phone over and over undlessly . restarting the phone did not help. I had to unpair, and unregister the watch and repair to fix the problem. if this is something that happens once a month then i am ok with it but if it is a every week thing it can probably get annoying. hopefully they can fix this in a future patch.
But so far I am happy with the H2000 . super light, comfortable and it does not look like a geeky piece of tech like the garmins and samsung/apple smart watches. and you do not have to charge it every day so so far very very happy.

I will just keep my H1000.I dont like the idea of having a resin caseback.I think the H10000 will be tougher and is easier to see in low light conditions.

i mean the resin will be better with water in the long run and the back is not likely to get impacted so having a stainless steel case back does not help it in durability.

Wasconsidering on getting this but instead got the instinct 2x. Similar if not better bettery life, more features, and actual software support (not too mention better software period

    • @wearablezone
      @wearablezone  10 месяцев назад

Well, both are rugged enough and packed with all the essential features, but g shock offers a more aesthetic design language compared to the garmin. However, end of the day it's your own preference.

@@wearablezone I consider the g shock design more classic, but thier both have a military standard, but the 2x had more too offer. I like the looks of the g shocks more too. But the software on the phone is just bad, and the watch is kind of lacking in features. Love the battery life and solar though. Has alot more potential then their wear is smartwatch did
