Thank you so very much for posting this. I have one of these in literally the SAME condition and forgot how all the wiring was oriented when I dis/re-assembled it. I think this amp has MUCH potential if you upgraded the two 10k uf filter caps and swap in a beefier transformer. I think I may go with 15k uf Nippon caps & a 600va transformer. This thing is rated @ 150wpc but the back label says its only 250 watt max. It be cool to get this bad boy handling full power @ a 4 ohm load ; )
Hey I just found the stereo system by its self for cheap, but no amp. Do I need this amp for it to work or is there something else I can do? Sorry if the question is mundane!
How can this thing put out 150 watts a channel when it only draws 250 W from your wall socket? I have a Kenwood AVR from '90 rated at 130 watts x 2 that draws 5 Amps. That would be 120v x 5A = 600 Watts total. Or over twice the draw of the Sharp amp? Don't get me wrong, the Kenwood is VERY POWERFUL. You can't turn it up much more than 9 or 10 o-clock before it's too loud! I also weighs around 34 lbs.

I'm glad the video helped you out.
@@99percentaudio Have you tried running large towers off this amp yet?
I ran some klipsch epic-cf-3 for a while. But really the amplifier is a bit small for the system I have now.
Tienes el diagrama de ese amplificador o me puedes apoyar con los colores de la resistencias
How input audio?? For RCA? THANKS
The amplifier has a set of rca cables built into it, they plug in to the pre out Jack's on a preamplifier.

Most hifi amplifiers will work with the sharp system.
Look's kinda empty inside. How heavy is it?
Less then 10lbs, and the face plate is plastic.

In fact, this amplifier has a 650W power transformer, if I'm not mistaken.
