Using CHD format for my files ,was best tip I ever heard for my gaming emulation. From 400gb of 120 ps2 games to whooping 290 !! No need to buy 1tb card anymore. You also saved me 100$ , thanks man👍👍👍
Very nice video, anytime I watch you I feel that you are honest, I don’t know why but if I’d ask a person what device to buy you, it’s you. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Hey Joey! Do you ever have problems connecting to the http site for file transfer? It hasn't been connecting consistently for me.. Also, it's super slow sometimes. I'm using the miyoo Mini.
Good tip list however one thing, Namdhc is WAY more convenient then CHDman. Also you can compress Sega CD, PCECD, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Amiga CD, PS1, and PS2 games with CHDman and Namdhc. Almost all PSP games can be compressed too with ISO to CSO but I'd argue it isn't really worth the time.
@@JoeysRetroHandheldsYeah but you can Select your entire ROM list and automate the entire process with Namdhc. I'm using it right now with my Sega Dreamcast Romset. 😁
I have the odin2 for almost a week but have not really used it yet. I just cant make anything work properly from Daijisho, emulators, etc. I have roms already.
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds I may have already seen that, but will check it out again. Not sure if it's my roms or emulator settings or where it went wrong during the process.
Lots and lots of issues. Big one is not being able to save. However or wherever these companies sourced their roms, they really screwed up. We have to deal with daily issues on the subreddit and Discord of people losing hours of Pokemon saves because they used stock roms.

I appreciate that!
I'm a sucker for achievements, RetroAchievements is one of the best thing that happened in gaming.
9:50 nice Injustice reference
I had no idea you could transfer roms via wifi! Whatt!
great vid as always man! happy holidays!🎉
I was hoping for a video like this! Sweet!
Great stuff, Joey! Keep up the good work!
Any idea how to find out the username and password for the Odin 2 portion with solid explorer.
I’m having trouble connecting and it keeps going red.
The username and password is your computer username and password.
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds yeah it isn’t working.
I got my username and my pin.
I’ve never used a lettered password just a 4 digit pin.
Okay so what do I do with the stock cards? Throw em away?
I use mine to test different Firmwares.
I throw mine out personally.

Hey, yeah the MM+ wifi chip range is awful, I have to put it right next to my access point.
transferring roms over wifi on miyoo mini plus always times out or errors. anything bigger than 50MB is just painful.
I haven't had that issue, but I do have to put the MM+ right next to my access point - the range on the wifi chip is not good at all.
I highly recommend Vimm’s Lair!!

Eh, chdman is one click, it doesn't get any easier :)

But chdman does that too lol it keeps going for as many roms are in the folder
@@JoeysRetroHandheldsI was about to say, lol
I like CHDman
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds You don't have to use the same folder if you use Namdhc. Also I can manually select ROMs too. 😉
For CHD conversion 7:44 is it the same process for Mac? (Many of us watching don't have windows..)
I doubt it, I have no idea I don't own a Mac. Sorry!
You might as well get a Computer with Windows or Linux then!
Where on your computer/web browser do you enter the IP address? You didn't show where exactly 😅 1:35
Just any browser :) same way you'd type in google.com

I have a full setup video that would likely help you :)

Everyone do retroachievements no reason not too but do hardcore mode
I get the SD cards being trash but why would the ROMs be trash? They're pretty simple files.

Probably using weird rom hacks.
You should REALLY cover up that IP Address bro! 😬
That's an internal IP, can't do anything with it :)
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds Didn't want you to get doxed. 😁👍
