@@aaronnewman80 sorry.. i missed this comment.. we are still busy on Mars v.2 but will definitely continue this as this is one of my maps i made for a friend.. :)
when you copy/paste the small image into the big image, can't you just copy weight01 and paste into all 4 bigger images, or will that not work... might be quicker if it does 😉
Is it possible to increase the map detalisation to avoid such an ugly soil texture aliasing, when cultivating or plowing on a non straight sections of fields for example.
All ground textures are relevant to the texture. So you can for instance change the texture for plowed soil, or seeded soil, or cultivated soil etc.. in fs22 the ground now have types, you can find th3m in the game folder under data/maps/textures/terrain/ground. So pick the one you want to change in your map, open your maps i3d in a notepad editor, change the directory for the 2 texture files to point to your map, customize the texture as you please and place them at the path you added. Test and hopefully you like. But in my xp, the groundtype textures of fs22 is probably the best you can get from a texture projected in a 3d environment ..
@@FarmerBoBonRUclips I'm not talking about textures, but about how they applied to a terrain, edges of these textures are very angled and aliased. Plow a circle on a grass and you will see what I'm talking about, it wont be a circle.
@@vermillion4971 ahh ok .. this what you are referring to as the ground angles or multi terrain angles MTA, the textures are following the angles and are applied onto the ground angles of the map.. The base game all have 16 terrain angles, but you can increase this to 32, which has a much smoother effect. So you need to increase the ground angles of the map you are wanting to improve.. here is the procedure in my MTA video.. but be warned if you done have mapping XP this will be difficult, but if you follow my video precisely on a watch pause do basis you should be ok with the downloaded xml file. ruclips.net/video/S2YJjeqsBEk/видео.htmlsi=qTKvg8AT6IT_3hia
@@vermillion4971 the map size does not make a difference, these textures are used as far as i know up to 64km maps, the terrain size does not make any diffrence on how the texture is applied. the texture themselves is only 1024x1024 so even using them on a 8km map (16X) it doesnt make any difference. the terrain size of an 8km map is 8192x8192.
Thank you Bob 💫

Glad to hear, yes definitely some more coming.. just currently rushing to get Mars v.2 in for testing at modhub.

Hi my friend, no you cannot, the 4 images are not the same, they are rotated 90 degrees in orientation of each other to for 1 image. 😊
@@FarmerBoBonRUclips ahh ok👍

@@FarmerBoBonRUclips looks like wgen you paint these textures on a 512x512 map, i want game to paint them on a 4k+ map so i dont notice aliasing
