Yes it will power 12v continuously. Push both led and power buttons and hold for a moment. It does have that function and it also bypasses all safeties.
My NOCO won't start my e46 DD - it just doesn't have the voltage (is my guess) - it will crank, but the ECU freaks out with what I assume is low voltage.
My NOCO GB40 has jump started every dead battery I've thrown at it, and still shows a full charge afterwords. GM 5.3 LM7, m60b44, s38, m30, VW Tiguan, probably some others I'm forgetting. Some were DEAD dead. I also have the NOCO 2x2 charger that has the desulfation mode, and after about a month of keeping my e34 on it, that car now cranks significantly faster than it ever did, even after being disconnected from the charger for extended periods of time. Just surprised your NOCO couldn't get the job done! Wonder if something failed on it or if it just exceeded it's lifespan. It's really just a battery, and batteries do go bad, hence the need for said product haha.
