I now remember trying to watch the series, but that boy was too much to put up with, so I didn't bother with it. Watching it like this with a narrative is much better !!
Honestly, I kind of wish more seasonal anime had good story telling world building and likeable characters. Nowadays it's nothing but wish fulfillment/fetish bait, usually in the form of Isekai power fantasies.
