I was watching it via the Sunderland stream. Danny Collins didn’t know the goal was disallowed for a good 5 minutes after it, the score in the corner said 2-0 but no one had a clue what was going on.
I totally agree with you Steve There needs to be a full transparent investigation into this matter and if there’s any evidence that the fourth official was viewing via a monitor then passing the information to the referee the four officials should be sanctioned This disallowed goal could be a deciding factor in our push for automatic promotion
The officials should be suspended after that disgracefully decision The ref definitely said at the end of game to Isidor he came from a offside position.utter bollocks.
The ref is the one with the whistle & the lino is the one with the flag. How can someone override the pair of them by doing something that is not part of their role in the game. Made my blood boil that farcical decision. Why do we always get twats for officials in our games? I can't remember where the game was restarted though. If in the penalty area I assume handball by Enzo which is bollocks as it was ball to hand at best. If offside, and restarted near the centre circle well I am short sighted as hell but even I could see he wasn't. Those ''officials'' need to be pulled and sent on a refresher training course.
Another game with poor refereeing against us. The Burnley game the officials were against us too. All the pundits say we are not in the promotion race. Call me a conspiracy theorist but it appears the EFL are against us getting promoted. Nothing else explains the levels of incompetence by the officials.

That said it is quite irregular for a 4th official to watch a monitor! The onfield decision had to stand. (Different in the Premier League when VAR applies). But in this case the goal should have stood. (Even though Isidor was fractionally offside)
I disagree. This angle does not show the full picture. When seen from side on, the Derby player at the top of the screen was playing Isidor on.
