Don’t just opt for Chinese food!! Try out Japanese food as well. Some suggestions: Udon noodles, Salmon sushi and nigiri, miso soup, ramen, tempura. Also should have a teppanyaki or hibachi experience. Authentic japanese food is exquisite and since you are in Japan you should definitely try it out.

As I have stayed there for six months in 1983,though it wasn't so mechanised then,Japan and it's people have impressed me a lot. Even at that time I used to feel that Japan is the real heaven on earth!
