    Mmmmmm the longest train i ever been into was 75 trucks/wagons or cars,but longest one i ever drove was 65 in South Africa, would love to have a feeling of driving this kind of train.

    UP and BNSF always have extra power CN and CP seem to use the bare minimun

      I think they use what is needed, we hardly see any helpers leave Revelstoke to the west altough the grade are steep and curves are sharp on that Sub

      And this wb runs all along the Thompson River from Hope to Kamloops so there is not much difference in height

      @@garylarson6386 it won't be a big problem, there are extra engines in yards nearby that can reach the train with problems in a short time

    That is one long train of MTs. Looks like CN is taking a page out of the UP playbook.

    Is their a crew in the pushing engine?

      No Edward, the DPU's are empty, no crews. They are radio controlled from the lead engine
