Took me 3 months to finally touch this stuff due to reading all the horror stories. I have severe anxiety and ADD and mild depression. Was on Prozac and Zoloft and they did absolutely nothing for me but made me fat and constantly tired. Gave up on medication for about 3 years, finally went back to the doctor and he prescribed this. I’ve haven’t had energy like this since I was 10 years old! I actually wake up feeling refreshed and ive NEVER been a morning person. A little trouble sleeping but I seem to require a lot less sleep now. I really hope this continues.
I feel like I am in the same boat, I was prescribed this today, my doctor started me on the lowest dose possible 37. Something and she said we would work up to like 70 or so … I really hope this helps me… I suffer from depression and I tend to shut down and just want to sleep when I become over stressed , started with Zoloft, moved on to Prozac and now this….
@@JustBreizy upped my dose to 75 mg a week ago. Was actually starting to feel drowsy and slept almost all day for the first two days. Just today I started to not feel too drowsy. Been losing weight though which is a welcomed side effect.
I just got diagnosed wit anxiety-depression and they gave me this today its my first night on it and thank you for giving us this information I was so scared and terrified 😭 but you calmed me down😌
Hi there, I'm so happy to hear this helped calm some of your fears . I know how scary making the decision to start medication can be. Give yourself credit for that and realizing it's something you need at this point. Just be sure to jot things down that you have questions about or how you are feeling so that you have information to share with you doctor. Keep in touch and let me know how you do. Best of luck to you
Just wanted to say I also got diagnosed recently and will be starting tomorrow. I’ve been having anxiety all day thinking about but this video helped me out so much also. I never comment on RUclips videos but I had to make an account to express my gratitude. THANK YOU.
@@danikacortez691 how's your experience going? I've been prescribed it today but I'm iffy about it I've had horrible side effects on anti depressants in the past. I almost want to wait till Xmas break from work to start them
I’m on week 3 of Effexor 75mg and hydroxyzine 25mg. I was having panic attacks everyday sometimes multiple times a day until I started the medication. So far I haven’t had a panic attack since, I sleep better and feel less anxious. Only downside and I’m still early on is I’m still slightly anxious everyday and some situations feel like they will bring on a panic attack if I don’t leave. But overall I’ve seen substantial improvement so far.
I’m starting this medicine today, I’m soooo anxious about it! Just reading the side effects & just getting myself all paranoid. Thank you for making this video, it made me feel better about starting this medicine and how it will effect me 🥺💜
Good morning, I'm sorry for the delay in response. I know the feeling. I too was anxious when reading the side effects and worring about how I would react to it. How are you doing with it ?
Hi there thank you so much for watching and sharing your own experience. I'm so sorry you have been experiencing this..I know how all consuming anxiety can be. I'm happy you spoke to your doctor about it! Let me know how it goes good luck to you!
Hi, what has your experience been in the past few months since being on the medication? Hope you are doing well! Appreciate any updates or feedback that u are comfortable sharing. 😊
@@emmytones8311 I have honestly come off of it. I consulted my doctor and he and I both decided it wasn’t for me. He originally thought it would be great since I am a chronic migraine sufferer and have anxiety. While it did help my anxiety it did nothing for my migraines. I feel like they got worse. Back on Topamax for me. I will tell you that these withdrawals are not fun. The doctor will tell you how to slowly come off of it like a schedule but it has been an experience. I am currently in a state of vertigo but not everyone will have the same experience. It is a miracle drug for some just not for me unfortunately.
@@itsLiLiChaos wow ty for the super quick reply and update. Lol I kid u not but literally the only serious health issue that I suffer from is chronic migraines (besides the anxiety/depression). Like I get migraines to the point I throw up occasionally and cry often. They can be debilitating as I'm sure u understand... I'm definitely going to do more research and talk more about it with my doctor for sure. Are u still tapering off of it still? I'm sorry to hear of your experience and the side effects from coming off from it. I hope things improve and work out for u.
@@emmytones8311 definitely do more research! It just wasn’t worth the increase in migraines for me. Like I said as a chronic migraine sufferer it went from a few a week to constant migraines. Since tapering off and being put on Topamax I am 5 days migraine free. Still anxiety free but I have an anxiety pill to take whenever they pop up to stop it. Good luck finding a treatment!!!
I’m on Effexor - about two weeks in. I think it’s doing the trick! Also you are gorgeous! Excited to see how this medication affects me in a few more weeks
Just for found your videos just started this medication a week ago I wasn't going to take it I scared myself reading horror stories online. I finally decided to take it and Iam so glad I did it's had such a positive effect on me I don't get depressed so much any more I don't have panic attacks or feel like my brain is flooded with all these bad thought anymore I still have them but not as much I have more energy and I see the world much clearly I feel more happy. Before I was feeling suicidal and hopeless this medication is helping. Thank you so much for your videos 🙂
HI Janet, I'm so sorry for the delay in responding. I'm so happy to read that you are finding relief with your medication!!! I know reading other's experiences can be so scary. It's such a great feeling when you find something that helps bring you out of the swamp of depression...please keep in touch and let me know how you do
oh has been your life without that drug .. bet you havent stop or else you would change you comment saying its awesome since those horror stories are real
Thank you. My head is so full of emotion and racing thoughts. In a time I should be happy. I actually quit taking all my meds. Gaining weight but it’s questionable of what medicine was doing it. I quit them all. Just going to try this one for a while. Therapy has been impossible to get into. But for a fact this is the only drug that stopped all those thoughts in my head. It was clear. No racing
Hi there..thank you for watching and sharing your own experience. I hear you about therapy. I know many are maxed out with patients since the pandemic hit. Please don't put too much pressure on yourself feeling that you "should be happy' you feel what you feel. Never lose sight of doing what you need to do to help yourself with mental health. If that means calling for virtual therapy everyday until you find someone or talking to your doc until you find the right meds...never give up on you!!! Feel free to stay in touch
I can relate to the issues with making appointments, and the unreasonable anxiety associated with it. Anything that upsets my routine makes me worried sick, & as a 40 year old Man, it makes me feel terribly inadequate. Sometimes I want to just quit my job, blow whatever money I have left, max out a bunch of credit cards, and then go to sleep, but I can’t do it to my loved ones…..yet.
Great video. Venlafaxine changed my life. I take 150mg a day, and I feel like myself again before the depression and anxiety. I only experienced side effects for the first week... I felt high like I was rushing. However, now I'm balanced. The only thing is you need to make sure you don't run out or miss a few days because something inside you opens back up. It's like a dam that busts with all the anxiety built up. It wont work for everyone and I had to try so many different drugs until I found the one that suited me.
@@katvonef first few days are tough, first week is not easy. Just give it chance. Just fight a bit longer and you will be fine one way or another. Good luck ❤️
Dr might put put me in this from depression from chronic pain, but I also have OCD too. Man, you are calming. I’d love to talk to you while going through this when I start.
Started Venlafaxine recently and it really really Helps tremendously (1 week in). The only issue is the loss of libido. I hope it will get a Bit better in time
Hi there! Thank you so much for watching..I'm so happy to have helped in some way. Trust me, my fears were so overwhelming and controlled my thoughts for years. I realized how much I just needed to start talking and asking questions. Once I spoke to my doc, my fears subsided and I felt armed with the information I needed to make the best decision for me. Was recently taking lexapro, but I just started Effexor today at 75mg while weaning myself off of lexapro. The plan is to work myself up 150mg. Maybe I wouldn't need that high dosage. So far, I've been more focused but a little jittery. I have anxiety so I was afraid this will send me spiraling with heart palpitations but I'm good for now. Thank you for this video!
Hi there thanks so much for watching and for sharing your own experience! So happy to hear you are doing well so far. How has the past 2 weeks been for you?
I was only on the medication for about 3 days. I got super sick. My doctor told me to stop taking my meds cause it wasn’t normal how sick I got. I was throwing up, my hands were 10x shakier then normal, I had blurred vision, my legs and arms were weak and kept giving out, I had severe brain zaps, and just had an awful experience! I don’t mean to scare anybody. Just sharing my experience
Hi there thank you for sharing ...I'm so sorry you had such a terrible experience. It's crazy how some people are effected differently than others. I hope you found something that was a better fit for you
this drug needs to be started on a low dose and slowly increase the dose____i started it for back pain, i opened up the EFFEXOR XT capsules and counted the round beads inside, then i only took 10% for a few days, then i took 20% for a few days___i am not going to take more than 37.5 mg
Im starting on this medication today after having the same exact feelings as you (its kinda scary how similar haha) but this video really helped, thank you.
8:12 what your experiencing is called a brain zap it is like an electric feeling in your brain that stays confined in your brain and doesn’t cause any problems it is only a sensation in the brain
Thank you so much for this video! My daughter is starting this medicine tonight and I have been so anxious on having her start something. You have truly helped calm my nerves!
Hi Amber, thank you so much for watching and for your feedback. I'm so happy to hear that this helped. I know starting medication can be a scary thing for sure! It took me many years to even have a conversation with my doctor about it. If you or your daughter is interested, I posted this one last week with some things to keep in mind when first starting medication. ruclips.net/video/gvU3iJVKwmM/видео.html I wish you and your daughter nothing but good experiences on this journey. Just keep in mind medication truly is a journey and may need some changes along the way. I hope she finds the same comfort and relief medication has brought me.
I took venlafaxine at the advice of my ENT. In 2 hours my Vertigo was 80% gone after having The vestibular migraine for 9 months. At 2am the next morning I woke up with a blinding headache. I took my BP and it was 196/121. Yeah off to the ER I went. If I have to decide between Vertigo and a Stroke,,,,Easy choice.
I want to thank you for your videos. I’ve never been a strong communicator and I bottle everything because that’s how I was raised. Always the man of the house from 4th grade up.. felt I could never be vulnerable. The only reason I sought help is because my manic bipolar swings have been destroying my family. Starting my meds tomorrow and I’m excited to see how it works for me.
HI Matthew thank you for the kind feedback. Happy to know something I share helps someone else going through their own struggles. I'm sure that must have been incredibly difficult to hold all your emotions in for so long. Sometimes it takes reaching a our low point to realize we need some help and I'm so happy you were able to reach out and get the help you needed. One piece of advice I can give is be kind with yourself during this time. Not everyone finds their perfect medication match on the first try. Hopefully this is the one that will work for you but if not, don't give up!!!!! Please let me know how you are doing in the next few weeks and good luck!
@@JustBreizy Hi Brei, I wanted to touch base and let you know how things have been since we last spoke. I have been on meds for just about 2 weeks now and I feel like I have my life, relationship and career back. I am amazed at the difference. For years I was walking through life dealing with this because it was the only "normal" that I knew. Your videos inspired me to take my mental health more seriously and to do something about it. Thanks a milion!
Hi there, ughh I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with Lexapro..crazy how meds can have a different reaction with people. Effexor has been a great one for me..I hope you find the same relief! Keep in touch
I appreciate these videos so much. I was on Lexapro for two years and it helped immensely with my moods, but I stopped due to weight gain. I was ok with a few extra pounds, but the fat under my chin was making it hard to breathe at night. Getting off it was awful, but my doctor helped by giving me a few days of Prozac, which leaves the body slower. I tried Wellbutrin for a couple days and the side effects were intense. I just felt wound up way too much. I can't decide if I want to try another drug or just use therapy, journaling, etc.
Hey Rebecca thanks so much for watching and for sharing your own experience! Are you currently in therapy? I can't wait to get back to it...therapy was such a help for me. If you don't mind me asking, were you dx with something specific?
@@JustBreizy I don't know if I have an official diagnosis other than depression. I asked my doctor for an antidepressant and Lexapro was his first choice. I just got done with 8 weeks of therapy with Better Help. My employer paid for it, so for more sessions, I need to start paying. This therapist was better than previous ones I had seen in person. Honestly, getting out of the house more would help my mood. Quarantine was awful, and I am still working from home. Every time I take a shower, get dressed, ago somewhere for a few hours, I feel a little better for the rest of the day.

Thank you. I just started Effexor with Rexulti. So far so good. I do feel panic that is my main thing. I tried other meds but they didn’t work. Also going for TMS treatments too. I hope I feel better soon. I had cancer which brought my anxiety out.
@Abby woodall it worked well. It helped the depression but still struggling with the dread and panic. Taking less Effexor was sweating uncontrollably and will be going off Rexulti soon. Nothing seems to help the dread.
a week into trying effexor. really hoping this works out for me. this is the third med i’m trying for my anxiety. took a gene test and this one looks like it will work best! just increased to 75 today. i know it’s only been a week so i’m trying to not get my expectations too high cus i know it can take a few weeks. when did it start to make a difference in your life? the only thing i’ve noticed a week in is improved sleep!
Hi Autumn, thanks so much for sharing! My cousin did the gene test as well and found that really helped her get on the right meds. I went from lexapro , for my anxiety (which was working great) to effexor (because I needed to address my depression as well) thankfully I had a smooth transition from one to another. I want to say within the first week I noticed a difference. My doc did say it could take a couple of weeks to really kick in though. So good that your sleep has improved..thanks awesome! Keep in touch and good luck!
I'm a military veteran with PTSD, and anxiety/depression are the major symptoms of PTSD. It is debilitating. I cannot be happy with anything, and I was super scared of starting medication for my mental health. I've seen plenty of guys like me who started medication and let's just say it didn't work out well for them. I was just prescribed Effexor, and I haven't taken it yet. I really related to you when you said you were scared because of family history of addiction, because same. Thanks for this video, I've gotten the courage to at least try it. I've previously tried Mirtazipine and Buspar together, and I felt good but was told that it turned me angry. It was as if my 0 to 100 was a world record.
Hey there good morning thank you so much for your comment and for sharing your own personal struggles I know it could be so scary but I’m hoping that the end result is something that makes your life more enjoyable and manageable. Sending you lots of love thanks again.
Thanks Stefan ..I know it's so much easier said than done but it really is so liberating when the weight of what other's might think just isn't there anymore. Thanks for watching hope all is well!
Thank you for making this. I’m started this today (in addition to adderall which I’ve been on for a little while) for my ADHD and GAD and trauma. It feels so self-indulgent and stupid to try all these medications. Maybe I’m just being dumb- life is supposed to be hard! I am VERY AFRAID of being an addict or a zombie. Scary stuff.
Even wanting to be a better version of myself is hard. I feel like I’m coming from a place of “not being good enough” without meds. I don’t know how to explain it. Hopefully this helps me though! 💔
I know when I tried Buspar. I was experiencing like random adrenaline surges. It made me extremely jumpy but not like a panic attack or anxiety it was weird. It freaked me out and haven’t took anything else since. I was just prescribed VENLAFAXINE and now afraid of the same thing.
@@JustBreizy No. i doubt I will find anything that actually works without inducing anxiety. I can’t don’t SSRIs or SNRI. I don’t like how they make me feel. First of all I'm 71, work out, walk everywhere, good blood pressure etc. My ENT prescribed Venlafaxine 37.5 mg for my Vestibular Migraine that came out of nowhere. He said take it for 2 weeks. I took one at 10am and by Noon my Vertigo was 80% gone. I thought cool.. 2am the next morning I woke up with a blinding headache, and I don't get headaches. But I did read on Web MD you might want to watch your Blood Pressure if you take this. So I decided to take my Blood pressure. 196/121. Yeah off to the Emergency room I went. I realize different medications can work differently in different people.. Just a Heads up.

I suggest speaking to your doctor and discussing what you need to target and what you are struggling with. good luck to you!
Hi Lisette, the only weight gain I've had (few pounds) is purely due to when I go on bagel and pizza diets...actually on day three now of eating much healthier and feeling so much better!
Hi Carrie I apologize for the delay. I can tell you that my fear of side effects was paralyzing for sure..just be sure to keep notes as you go and keep the lines of communication there with your doc. It's a scary road for sure but totally worth it! How are you doing now?
Hey Barbara let me first start by saying I know it’s a big move and give yourself credit and grace that you came to this decision. Usually in the beginning it’s all about your body just acclimating to the medications so it should be a low-dose to start with and then your doctor may adjust it depending on if there’s a need to do so. You may not feel anything at first I know some people it takes a little while to start feeling the effects. Hey toby..I'm so sorry you had that experience..did you wind up changing to a different medication? I hope you find something that is a good fit. And thank you, Dr. Quin was bad ass :)
hi i am not on any meds i just cant handle the side effects at the start like feeling sick i just excepted thats how i am and when i get to bad a big meal seems to help or a six pack of jack daniels so for now that how i cope but i think one day i will need to try something else thanks for your reply stay strong and have a nice day 😊😊😊
I just started this today and honestly I’m struggling. This is the first medication I’ve ever tried and my doctor started me on 75mg. I experience extreme depression, anxiety, and ptsd and used to self medicate with smoking pot, which over time caused me to lose my appetite, so since quitting smoking my appetite was already terrible, but since trying the medicine today, I have completely had no desire to eat, not even 1 or 2 bites of anything. Should I give it a few more days? Any tips or tricks? Will my appetite eventually come back with Effexor?
Hi there..I'm so sorry for the delay. How are you doing today? Did stay with it? Did things improve? I've heard some people struggle with their appetite but eventually it either came back or their doc switched meds after a while. Hope you are doing well
Same. It's my 3d day on the meds and I've had no desire to eat anything. I have had to consciously make a decision to eat. Whether it's a fruit cup or tuna pack.
Took my first pill of Venlafaxine last night and i feel HORRIBLE. I feel totally out of it, extremely nauseous and had to puke 2 times, every once in a while i feel this extreme heat and almost burning feeling under my skin, and i feel 10x more anxious and depressed than before i took it. I swear i cannot do this another day.
@@xoluciaxo_3721 don’t listen to that guy as that does not sound like food poisoning lmao. Sounds more like you just had an actual reaction when starting it. You should have told your GP right away as that is not a Normal/safe response to an SNRI.

Sounds like your body and how your reacting to the med. sometimes it will get worse before it gets better. It takes approximately 12 for some of these meds to work and people don’t give them enough time BUT if you are having side effects that are absolutely unbearable then it isn’t for you and def tell your doc

I am on effexor now too , ir has defnitely helped, I get night sweats but I will take it because I think It helps me so much its been 2 months at 75 mv
I have major depression and generalized anxiety disorder and just started this med almost 2 weeks ago. Did you use anxiety medication until the effexor kicked in. I still have alot of anxiety when I wake up and my fears are in my head when I wake up. Does the anxiety get better?
Hi there I'm so sorry for the delay. My doctor told me the effexor would target my anxiety as well. I thankfully did well with the transition from lexapro to effexor. I know how it is to have fears and intrusive thoughts..it can be all consuming. My anxiety has improved significantly . Hope you are doing well
@@JustBreizy it has only been 4 weeks on 75mg and I can feel a difference but I also use clonazepam until it kicks in better plus I couldn't sleep so my doctor gave me sleeping pills. All of thos got triggered after I had full hysterectomy 9 years ago and have struggled with it. I am afraid of getting old alone and no financial security but yet still don't feel like going to work yet and feel very lazy and beat myself up for not doing as much as others. @@JustBreizy did you have to increase dose of effexor. I am still on 75mg but still don't feel like doing much and not much of an appetite and don't sleep good. Did you have dark thoughts and it improved?
@@emmaratliff7410 my anxiety went away but occasionally it comes up but not like before. I still feel like I just exist and don't look forward to anything. I have been in therapy for childhood trauma and it helps a bit to know that alot of what I am going through stems from that plus genetically predisposed to it. I gained alot of weight but I am borderline hypothyroid and prediabetic so I don't know if it's from that or effexor. My lower back hurts and bursitis in left knee so I can't exercise to feel better. I still have days where I just want to stay in bed but it's not everyday like before. I don't know how I gained the weight because I don't have much of an appetite and eat like I did before. I hope the medication helps you.

THANK YOU.

@@JustBreizy yesterday was day 2 could not sleep
I’m on week 3 of Effexor 75mg and hydroxyzine 25mg. I was having panic attacks everyday sometimes multiple times a day until I started the medication. So far I haven’t had a panic attack since, I sleep better and feel less anxious. Only downside and I’m still early on is I’m still slightly anxious everyday and some situations feel like they will bring on a panic attack if I don’t leave. But overall I’ve seen substantial improvement so far.
Hello may I know how u doing now after 7 month
I’m starting this medicine today, I’m soooo anxious about it! Just reading the side effects & just getting myself all paranoid. Thank you for making this video, it made me feel better about starting this medicine and how it will effect me 🥺💜
Starting mine tmr! Any tips or comments or concerns?

Good morning, I'm sorry for the delay in response. I know the feeling. I too was anxious when reading the side effects and worring about how I would react to it. How are you doing with it ?
I'm starting mine in a couple days. Shoot anxious about it.
Can all of you please give an update? Just started it myself and im scared as hell of the side effects
Thank you. Anxiety has been taking over my life. Just talked to my doctor today about it and will be taking Effexor. Love your videos.

This video was literally spot on with how I feel. I just got upped to 150mg a day. Excited to see the change.

It wont work for everyone and I had to try so many different drugs until I found the one that suited me.

how are you now?
Was recently taking lexapro, but I just started Effexor today at 75mg while weaning myself off of lexapro. The plan is to work myself up 150mg. Maybe I wouldn't need that high dosage. So far, I've been more focused but a little jittery. I have anxiety so I was afraid this will send me spiraling with heart palpitations but I'm good for now.

this drug needs to be started on a low dose and slowly increase the dose____i started it for back pain, i opened up the EFFEXOR XT capsules and counted the round beads inside, then i only took 10% for a few days, then i took 20% for a few days___i am not going to take more than 37.5 mg

Amber - how is your daughter doing on the medication?
I took venlafaxine at the advice of my ENT. In 2 hours my Vertigo was 80% gone after having The vestibular migraine for 9 months.
At 2am the next morning I woke up with a blinding headache. I took my BP and it was 196/121. Yeah off to the ER I went. If I have to decide between Vertigo and a Stroke,,,,Easy choice.
Amen sister! Everything you shared is so familiar. Thank you for this video it’s so helpful to know your not alone with the anxiety despair feeling.
Please let me know how you are doing in the next few weeks and good luck!

what happened
Every time I take a shower, get dressed, ago somewhere for a few hours, I feel a little better for the rest of the day.

a week into trying effexor. really hoping this works out for me. this is the third med i’m trying for my anxiety. took a gene test and this one looks like it will work best! just increased to 75 today. i know it’s only been a week so i’m trying to not get my expectations too high cus i know it can take a few weeks. when did it start to make a difference in your life? the only thing i’ve noticed a week in is improved sleep!
Hi Autumn, thanks so much for sharing! My cousin did the gene test as well and found that really helped her get on the right meds. I went from lexapro , for my anxiety (which was working great) to effexor (because I needed to address my depression as well) thankfully I had a smooth transition from one to another.

Thanks Stefan ..I know it's so much easier said than done but it really is so liberating when the weight of what other's might think just isn't there anymore. Thanks for watching hope all is well!
Thank you for sharing your insights. I’ve been prescribed 37.5 once a day, is this what you take? When do you take it in the day?
Thank you for making this. I’m started this today (in addition to adderall which I’ve been on for a little while) for my ADHD and GAD and trauma. It feels so self-indulgent and stupid to try all these medications. Maybe I’m just being dumb- life is supposed to be hard! I am VERY AFRAID of being an addict or a zombie. Scary stuff.

How'd it work for you?
I know when I tried Buspar. I was experiencing like random adrenaline surges. It made me extremely jumpy but not like a panic attack or anxiety it was weird. It freaked me out and haven’t took anything else since. I was just prescribed VENLAFAXINE and now afraid of the same thing.

Silent Suffering....well said. I need to find a better doctor....it's so hard to find one who will listen and understand the pain of anxiety. It's tough.
Thank you! My Dr prescribed this to me but my pharmacist doesn’t want to give it to me. He said I’m too young (25) for this type of medication. I just want to know if you’ve experienced weight gain. Thank you
Hi there I apologize for the delay. What wound up happening? If you doctor is prescribing you something, the pharmacist can review side effects but shouldn't be withholding it from you. I have not experienced weight gain from this.
@@JustBreizy I'm not sure why your pharmacist would say your to young, I'm 16 and in 75mg, I started yesterday, I just came off zoloft 50mg after about 2 weeks but the side effects were too extreme

Did the Lexapro make you tired?. I thought that Lexapro was for depression and anxiety
Thanks for sharing your experience 😊
you're welcome and thank you for your support!

Aww so happy to hear that ❤️❤️❤️
Taking venlafaxine xr. After 3 days side effects started and still continue (day 6). Horrible nausea, dizziness, headache no appetite and sometimes fast heartbeat and uncomfort in chest. Prescribed to me for depression, anxiety and ocd. It really helps with depression but the side effects make me anxious and i don't know if i should keep taking it. I've never had any side effects with any other antidepressant.
I just started it yesterday and I’m like burning up and it feels like my body’s tingling.
@@emmaratliff7410 Thankfully my sideeffect symptoms passed. I skipped a day and then continued taking the medicine and my body somehow adjusted and now I'm fine. The drug really seems to help. Also taking probiotics helped.

Is this medication good for social anxiety and panic attacks?
Did it help with your energy level? Like being more social?
I am also going to start this for being social.
Hi 👋🏽 question. Did you feel geeked when you take it and if so how long did it last. I do. I don't like it
I just received my RX. I am supposed to take one, 37.5 mg tablet once per day. What time of day (a.m., mid-day, or p.m.) would you recommend? Thx!
HI there, hope all is well. Keeping in mind that I'm not at doc, I found that taking it a night was better for me. The key is to be consistent is what my doctor has said. Good luck! Let me know how it goes
I’m on my first day I feel really panicky to the point I could not drive to work
I am so scared. I just got mine and I wish it works. I tried so many and anything worked for me except weight gain. That I totally ate. Hopefully this one works
Hi Jay..have you started it yet? how have you been doing?
If you had suicidal thoughts, were they reduced or diminished when switching from Lexapro to Effexor?
How long did it take before u started seeing the medicine work? Just got prescribed this love ur video but they told me it takes a while to kick in. 😊
Hi Phill, thanks for watching! My doc told me the same, that it could take a couple weeks. I felt the effects within a few days. I hope you find the relief you are looking for !
Appetite 1-7 days
Anxiety 14-28 days
Depression 28- 41 days
Was on prozac. It helped with depression but increased my anxiety. I have stopped taking it. I have a review with Dr in 2 weeks. Dr is planning to put me on effexor and zoloft. Not sure if Dr will suggest only snri first or will combine it with ssri. Any idea, if snri and ssri combo is safe?
Effexor is NOT for headaches !!! What kind of quacks do u hav there???
It does help with certain migraines but may not be right for everyone
I take this also but i kept it with 37.5 mg and i feel ok.
So happy to hear you are doing well with it! Thanks for sharing

Hi there, again I'm so sorry to hear about your struggle. Do you mind me asking how you are doing? Is there something specific that you have difficulty with that makes it difficult to be around others?
Hello and thank you for making this video! I am doing the same thing that you are doing I was on Lexapro and they just put me on Effexor because I was having night sweats with Lexapro for many months now and I couldn’t stand it anymore so they switched me to Effexor. Hey Russ I'm sorry for the delay. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Just be sure to check in with yourself shut down some notes the positive and negative if any negative should arise. You got this!!!! Keep in touch

I just started this today and honestly I’m struggling. This is the first medication I’ve ever tried and my doctor started me on 75mg.
