Hello sir ,Can you please explain this tafel curve is also applicable for identification of corrosiveness of chemical. I am focused on the chemical are corrosive resistant in nature using different corrosion inhibitor.

    Dear Prof
I am kumar pursuing doctoral research in Spanish Council the field of corrosion. I saw your video on RUclips and it is awesome.
I have a question on EIS for longer immersion test condition.
    1. Sample is in 3.5 Wt% NaCl upto 200 hours test condition.
So, It will keep on electrochemical cell for 200 hours? or may I keep in the same amount of electrolyte like a beaker and then it will transferred to an electrochemical cell for impendance measurement?
    Could you offer your suggestion?
    Kind regards,
    Kumar

Keep in beaker for 200 hrs and then shift to electrochemical cell

@@aniketkolekar2099 Thank you professor. In that case am I using the same NaCl electrolyte? Coz impedance measurement is more sensitive

Very informative video..What is the cons and pros for using NaCl to study corrosion compared to acids like hydrochloric and sulfuric acid?

In the graph of tafel plot why is low carbon steel having more corrosion rate even though it is towards the noble region?

Excuse me sir I want to ask, if the Potentiodynamic test starts sweeping from the bottom of the evans diagram (cathodic curve) where reduction reaction happens, does that mean the oxidation reaction is also happening simultaneously?
