I miss your content. I hope you and your family are doing well. I still use your videos as my ADHD hack to keep my house/life in order. I just wanted to make sure you know that your content is still positively impacting others.
The right amount of "stuff" is different for different people: right on point. Before I retired, I could only count on doing laundry on the weekends at the most. In case I had to skip a week due to pain levels, I kept at least two weeks' worth of clothing (sets of underwear, bras, socks, pants, and shirts). That way I still had the clothing to be able to go to work. Paper plates are a necessity in our house. Before I married, no-cook meals and convenience food were my necessities because I do not usually have the energy to fix something most of the time. In fact, protein bars and milk are still my breakfast staples.
Oh Sarah, I’m glad you posted. I was thinking of you and praying for you last night!👍❤️🙏 so right about the amounts of things vary depending on circumstances. I can’t always do the laundry AND make the bed with fresh linen- very often those tasks need to be completed on different days hence I have 2 sets per bed. I do a dishwasher load every other day so my extra dishes are essential. I need to do a saved grocery list for delivery. I forgot the milk last order due to brain fog. I have MS and my husband died in March. I’m managing but I love tips and tricks from you as another survivor of chronic illness and the followers here who post their solutions. I’m Margery on the other socials
Sara, thank you so much for this thoughtful video! I have enjoyed consuming content from very young, single, healthy, and/or male minimalists, but THIS video hit all the more realistic parts of my life, and made them feel doable! I felt especially seen when you mentioned that sometimes we have to own more items in order for our life to work. It’s hard to reconcile, as a person who wishes to live simply, that sometimes I need to own and wash more dishes because I just don’t feel well some days to keep up with a one-day supply. Thank you for bringing this up, for sharing your wisdom won through experience, and for being an uplifting influence in the simple living conversation! ❤
Welcome back Sarah, as a fibro sufferer your videos got me moving on bad days, please keep posting on you tube as some of cannot afford the fees when you go private.
Hiya Sarah a new subscriber here, I'm glad I found your channel. Your advice has been really helpful. Please keep making content. Blessings from Scotland 🩷
The right amount of stuff is sooo true. I cant wash dishes by hand, have to machine wash them. But I cant just fill the whole machine with four plates/mugs etc, one needs to do a whole load (otherwise wasting water & electricity). So the right amount for us is enough to fill the machine and then a little extra for use when the machine is working 😊 Similar situation with laundry. I dont just throw everything in one load, I separate whites from darker colors. Some things needs hot water, other things a cold and delicate cykle. So need enough clothes and towels etc to last in between 😊
Thank you for sharing this with us! I missed cleaning, organizing and decluttering with you, Sarah! I literally did those tasks way, way easier! 😊 Hope you’re doing well. ❤
This video is how I found you! I had migraine at the time and now I have added lupus to the mix to keep it fun😉. Your videos have really helped me to get through some rough patches. Thank you!
I miss you and your content so much. I hope you and your family are doing well. I just wanted to say I saw you at the train station one day when I was on my way to work. You were two people ahead of me on the escalator at Central. I wanted to say "hi" but you looked quite stressed and I didn't want to be a bother. I also know it can be weird if someone you don't know comes up to you in a public space.

I have skipped meds or groceries because I just can’t get out. I have most of my meds filled the same day and shop groceries while I’m there
❤
I live in Qld .. I’m also chronicly ill …. On funded support, with some level of hoarding disorder... It’s so hard to get the right help. Thanks
Sarah, what day are you being on the days of 9-14
