And as you correctly pointed out its not the first time he did it. His China takes are also insane. While "America deserved 9/11" as he claims, he has no issue defending China and what they are doing to the Uyghurs and Tibetans.

I hate this argument about “Palestinians have had this same atrocities inflicted on them for decades” it’s so insane and absurd. I would argue this makes Hamas look worse, if they have had their families and even their children brutally murdered and executed, then they know how pointless and evil such actions are. So the fact they chose to do these things anyway tells me it is purely about killing as many Israelites as possible. They’ve even gone as far as to kidnap 5 American citizens, 3 of which are between 12-14 year old. So now they have to deal with the might of the US with Gerald R. Ford on it’s way. They so clearly fucked up, it’s insane any can think what’s happening is good in anyway or somehow justified. It’s just pointless death and destruction that achieves nothing. No one is taking back Palestinian lands without massive support from the west, it’ll never happen. So to attempt to try anyway is just condemning massive amounts of civilians to death, for no justifiable reason. It’d be one thing if Hamas wanted to hail Mary charge the Israelis and go out in blaze of glory, but getting civilian involved for a pointless cause is just insane and morally evil.

There more I read about Hamas and how they handled themselves since their inception, especially with other Palestinian authorities. It makes me wonder how any outsider could see them as anything more than a group of terrorist who aren't willing to compromise on anything, not even with other Palestinians. They have no problems with using indiscriminate violence to push their end goal. Which btw, is the complete dismantling of the state of Israel. So they can't/won't compromise, and their end goal is not possible. So what are you supposed to do with that? You can't negotiate or reason with this level of fanaticism.

A lot of war happens because of the way previous conflicts were handled. Just like the Treaty of Versailles set the stage for WW2, dissolving Israel would probably only set the stage for another different conflict in the future. If peace is the goal, it can't be achieved by ethnic displacement or genocide of either Palestine or Israel.
I mean the Nazis were founded in the 20s in the weak weimer republic and in 20 more years led a super power in Europe. I wouldn't underestimate the likelihood of a radical group of genociders to grow in power. You are assuming that it is true that Israelis are treating Palestinians inhumanely, when in fact their occupation and military actions have been the most humane in the history of the world. The Palestinian terrorist groups have huge support in Gaza and the West Bank, and they operate from within the populace, making it impossible for Israel to deal with the terrorists without civilian casualties.

From what I've been hearing the PLO denounced Hamas attacks and are pursuing non-violent means of dealing with Israel.
To be fair, as a non-lefty and someone who is generally agnostic about a lot of these things, the circumstances for people living in the West Bank are very different from those living in Gaza.
I could never celebrate Hamas killing civilians, but I also have no idea how anything other than a Hamas-like government could emerge from the absolute terror that is living in Gaza being constantly surveiled* and controlled by a nation you can't even see. The Israeli government has really put themselves and their people in a position where something like this is inevitable.
