Amanitas are a more complex and subtle entheogen than most others, and take a special level of awareness to understand. If you are going to try them be sure to do your research on the chemistry and proper preparation or else you will likely have a difficult experience. They are iconic for a reason, however are highly stigmatized and misunderstood. This mushroom is as powerful and important as the other 'magic' mushrooms, and deserves an immense amount of respect.

My experience was defecation while vomiting and sweating followed by crazy dreams. A few days later I woke up from a nap to see a tiny flying craft buzzing my face then flew out my bedroom door, I got up thinking some kid flew a drone into my room only to find all windows and doors shut.

I heard the only way to go farther with these things is to either drink your own urine during, while already on an amanita buzz and/or to mix it with psilocybin mushrooms in which case some say it has a crazy synergistic effect. I think just taking normal amanitas even with a proper tea preparation is probably a waste of time if you're not doing the urine thing and it makes sense to me there'd be more steps after just making the stuff anyways. Gotta take the indigenous peoples' word on this one I think. Just like how white Europeans figured out and mastered nightshade ointments in witchcraft, Siberian shamans probably mastered amanitas and the first-pass delivery concept as it relates to its esoteric uses.

Have seen that many times xD
The most interesting version I have seen of this was driving past a field & seeing loads of what looked like squiggly lines like wheel marks driving round & round in every direction.
I pointed this out to some friends & we were all laughing at how bizarre this is.
we drove on & the trees & bushes blocked the view for a moment, when it opened up there were more lines all over in the next field & a bright red 1920s car was probably a ford model T with 4 people who were obviously tripping balls with clothes on that would be a perfect fit in a psychedelic Alice and Wonderland xD
super colourful the one woman had an umbrella with tinsel hanging of the edge!
I have also found a friend who had been tripping solidly for 3 days & when I found him he was the shitest bush shelter... but somehow cozy xD
he was covered in mud & what not.
I took him to get some food & hydrate & all was good. D

Noticed around four hours of active effects with sedative relaxing come down. Next morning similar awaking mental clarity to psilocybin effects afterwards. Tried 500mg of dried powder an gave me way more sedative effects earlier. Hope this helps with any newbies! Enjoy

1980s: My friends did it one night. I declined. They ate a few dried chips and said it was really bitter.
After about an hour they got very energized and started pacing around the cabin. They put on cowboy hats and started marching around ringing little Tibetan hand bells and getting really loud and sort of agitated.
Than they both said the felt really tall, and one of my friends told me "I feel 12 feet tall, like I'm way up here and you're WAY DOWN THERE!!! IT"S LIKE YOU"RE SO SMALL AND I"M HUGE!!!" The amount of charged up energy was sort of scary to watch come on so fast.
After about another 20 minutes of this I left.
They were fine the next day and said they had a good time.

do not consume AM unless you know how to properly prepare it. do not consume AM if you don't know the proper dosage for a specific purpose. AM talks. but if you are too stoned or too sick, you can't listen. if you are sensible, respectful, and open, AM is a great gift and can unlock many doors you didn't know even existed. it is not for everybody (maybe the microdosing is). it is for people who have a certain level of control over their bodies and high overall awareness.
people of Siberia were drying AM on the branches of the evergreens - there is your XMass decoration. Shaman is your St. Claus, dressed in red, who processed AM furder (raindeers involved and their urine as another filter) and then delivering it from yurta to yurta, sometimes not via the front "door" (often blocked by too much snow), but through the chimney. these people knew how and when to use it, so it was a gift and medicine at the same time.

I just tried amanita gummies last night. I’m super sensitive to substances so I wasn’t sure what to expect as others state that they had to take multiple gummies for a noticeable effect. I started with a quarter gummy and after an hour plus I was feeling pretty good so I took another quarter. I got a huge body high and the music I was listening to took on a crystalline quality. Even albums that I knew like the back of my hand sounded so fresh and alluring. Eventually the music got to be too intense so I had to shift to funny RUclips videos. Also started having dry mouth and heart racing but I’ve had these enough now not to freak out. So it was a great experience overall. Oh and closed eye visuals much different than psilocybin. Very vivid and strange dreams while falling to sleep.

This is very funny, but seriously, then let’s study the amount he took, dinner sized plate is to much, probably he took it raw and that’s wrong, warming out the goodies is the way, with brandy, that’s a first and I have 30 years with Amanita everyday, in every/ most ways, if your gonna train yourself raw, than very small, gradually bigger, each day till the onset, if you don’t want to wait, than a warm tea about 170 for a half hour/45 minutes, drink only a shot glass, if you cooked enough for a few days, which what my kind do, a shot glass every 45 minutes till the onset, more shot glass if you want to party with the voice😊. The dose is very important,my tea will last 5/days because it has 14 grams, dry with 1 litre of filtered water, I do add lemon, but you don’t have to, start slow.
