I've seen Marty & The Fabulous Superlatives in concert at least four times and I've been blown away each time I've seen them. On July 17, 2008 I was in a band that opened two shows for them in Hiawassee, GA at the Anderson Music Hall and I even got to play "Clarence" a few minutes before Marty went onstage for his second and last performance of that day. At the time, I owned a '96 pink paisley Telecaster that had a set of B/G stringbenders (and two banjo tuners on the 'E' strings) on the guitar and Marty & Kenny both commented on how well I played the guitar and the benders. They stayed for a couple of hours after the last show....but, dummy me went home because I didn't know that the guys were going to stay. Had I known, I would have stayed and probably asked Marty a TON of questions!
