One basic problem with fuel credit card is the reward redemption structure. These banks don't have any control over the petrol pumps and these pumps don't assist in redeeming points at pump either out of ignorance or willingly. Unless banks bring such cards which gives genuine cashback in the form of statement credit this problem will continue. Only SCB Super Value Titanium is working in correct line

I had SCB however i hv closed the card cause i gt lifetime free axis card, the reward is same 4% as scb and redemption of edge points can be done in any online shopping voucher... One benefit in scb cc was it gives cashback in any gas station. The limit was 4K in one billing cycle

@@krishnendughosh2348 Yes, I also have Axis IOCL life time free. One can accumulate upto 10000 points and then get Amazon voucher worth 2000/- Hope Axis will not change its structure and say that you need to approach petrol pump for redeeming in future.

Edge mile sirf travel,hotel etc pe redeem kar sakte hai na? Edge reward point voucher, travel etc hota hai. Edge mile se gift cards voucher nahi le sakte.

How can u add the 1% fuel surcharge waiver with 4% reward rate....the fuel surcharge is already added and it gets nullified due to the 1% surcharge waiver...so effectively only 4% u will get

Axis is trying to compete with SBI BPCL Octane card. It’s a direct competitor. However SBI BPCL Octane is still better. It gives 7% value back on petrol spends in addition to grocery departmental stores value back too.
