Absolutely EPIC song!! These eight ladies are awesome musicians! In PRS guitar presentation in Tokio Dany and Kanami said they are planning another collaboration, in fact Dany said she wants Band- Maid to come to Mexico and sing a spanish song. Amazing! Viva Band-Maid and The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡⚡
At times they're playing all at once. Kool video! ♥ Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo back in June where they live debuted this song Also caught the premiere of this video too. Nice to get to read the lyrics on this one Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too! Both Saiki & Dani are world class frontwomen! The Warning brought it that nite. Think Band Maid ratcheted up a notch so as to not be shown up on their home turf! Was an amazing concert!
Wow! Millie! You coming in strong, I love it. Thank you, Millie, for sharing this. Amazing; these two bands, wow. These Japanese ladies are amazing; I was not so familiar with their music, but that bass player… wow; sick groove. And our chicas from The Warning, always spectacular! These Japanese artists are so good. They reminded me of another Japanese group, unrelated comment here, but they popped in my head: Millie, para tu canal en Español, reacciones a Salsa… 😁 In the late 80s/ early 90s, la Orquesta de la Luz from Japan… wow, they amazed the world with their talent and skill playing salsa. Amazing! Love Japan, I like Band Maid very much now. Love The Warning. Thank you, Millie. You are always a joy to watch and to listen to! I liked your American accent at the beginning of the video… “Show’em! Show them…” so cute ☺️
So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to come to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.
This was more of a BM song as Kanami wrote the core and TW then helped polish the lyrics and added arrangements. Kanami even said in an interview she would like to go to Mexico and this time play a song TW write for them.
During their live performance of the song in Tokyo, both drummers played together in synch for most of the song except the breakdown duels. Hopefully they will eventually release a pro-recording of that live performance. 😎👍
Two of my favorite things are during the bass focus during the solo how you can hear the differences in the tones the two are using. Ale has a more muddy, dirty sound while Misa's sound is just clean as can be. Hearing that difference and then hearing how they mesh together is great. Also, at the end of the solo you get the singers going and the only instrument playing is Miku on rhythm guitar. Since she is the only one without a counterpart since she does rhythm and backing vocals, it was nice she also got a moment to shine.
She wrote the first edition of the lyrics, then worked with TW to finalize the lyrics. I gut feeling the Warning ladies got some tips on writing lyrics.
It’s pretty epic, for sure. The vocals really were great together, that is what surprised me the most. There is some talk about BM touring Mexico next year, I don’t know if it’s any more than a guess, but I feel we might see more work together. The positive response to this collaboration is right off the planet. Thanks for finally getting around to The Warning too, I knew you’d like them.
W I N !!!!! W I N !!!⚡🎀 I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Millie! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔
They coordinate the drums in the regular parts of the song, but take turns in the drumfills, it´s an amazing work od coordination, and they do this live.
all these badass young ladies keepin rock n metal alive around the world, cept america, where's our next ann and nancy wilson, pat benetar and joan jett?
Thank you for another delightful reaction (as your efforts generally are). One of the best collaborations that I've ever heard (but, considering what bands are involved, why would I expect anything else?).
In the live show Akane and Pau were side by side and except for brief drum solos by each they were locked together. But then there is Rockin 1000 so a hundred isn't too many.
Banger song with a great message. Everyone getting a moment to shine. I think Dani had to push her voice higher than she usually does to keep up with Saki.
This collaboration is the musical equivalent to Voltron, instead of 5 mini lion robots it's 8 musical juggernauts combining to make the ultimate musical force! Two drummers is very doable, they just rook turns for an arrangement stand point for the verses. On the choruses, especially the final one were in tandem. I would love to see them tour together in North America! Or hell, just become a supergroup! "The Band-Warning-Maids".
The drums would have to be tuned a slightly different frequencies so they can play both sets at the same time, which I think they did live. For the studio recording I believe they both used Akane's set , which she found really awesome because of the different sounds that were created on the set with two different drumming styles.
Millie, this video screams "GIRL POWER!" Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock. This collab is incredible. It should win the Grammy for collab of the year. The Maidiac and The Warning Army can now join forces with each other fans from around the world, creating "The Two Nation Army (Japan and Mexico) and dominate the world.
If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that the Mexican sisters of The Warning were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. They grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they don't do covers anymore. They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch. Their first two albums were crowd funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24, and just sold out their Spring tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're also back from Japan and a stint in L.A. for the launch of their new album, now in Europe and headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for next February, and added another date there, due to demand. Their fourth album arrived June 28, and they performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They were on MTV Push during July. They played Pol'and'Rock and Wacken Open Air festivals in Europe before tens of thousands of fans. Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity. Visit some more of this deep, deep, 11-year-old rabbit hole. The Warning Army will flock to your reactions.
I still don't love the song, but it's a great song regardless. I was actually most impressed by the vocals this time, and how Saiki's English pronunciation has improved tremendously. Thank you, the warning! You are great musicians and great people too.❤
NOW THIS IS INCREDIBLE BANDMAID AND THE WARNING TOGETHER .....OH MY LORD
Absolutely EPIC song!!

Awesome reaction! I’m primarily a The Warning fan and will see them live for the first time next month. This collaboration is fun as hell!
México y Japan unidos por la música y me gustó tu video y tú reacción, saludos Hermosa desde México capital 🇲🇽👍

Check out Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. And Moriah Formica of Plush. There are more out there. They just are not on your radio.

If 2 drum kits in one band is too much, someone should have told the Allmen Brothers Band 50 years ago!

This collab really was a beautiful thing.
Live they played the drums mostly at the same time but would take turns in the fills
This is written and composed by Band Maid, and it's going to be on Band Maid's next Album.
!!!GOODISM¡¡¡ BAND-MAID + The Warning is 100% 🔥 !!!🎵Ole Ole Ole Oleeee Warning/BAND-MAID🎵¡¡¡. Greetings from Argentina.
Delightful reaction, as always. 👍😎
Nope, if you watch carefully, you can see Akane and Pau often playing together in the background 🥰
They talked of band maid going too Mexico too play with the warning
Banger song with a great message. Everyone getting a moment to shine. I think Dani had to push her voice higher than she usually does to keep up with Saki.
the vocals were written in that high key specifically to push both singers into their high range a bit more than they usually go 😉
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
If you see it live Saiki was the one who could not keep up with Dany
@@booradley8895Saiki ever since started singing higher (and lower) I'm sure Dani inspired her as a fellow singer.
They already played this live before this song was released. They did a co-headlined in Japan a few months ago.
This was played live june 12th Tokyo
Rock on, Millie. 🤘😎👍
Adam and the Ants had 2 drummers back in the 80's

Drums only have to take turns when trading solos. Many bands have two drummers. Adam Ant comes to mind.
こんにちは、お疲れ様です。っていうか、バンドメイド、ザ・ワーニング共に最&高ですよね。クルッポ〜!

Very nice
Wow. Great colab between two great bands. And yet … Misa, Band Maids bassist can’t help but stand out.
Hello there hey there hey
Dear Millie maybe review Gary Moore. Still got the blues over you. Great song, you’ll agree🤘🎸😃👸

Joe Bonamassa had 2 drummers when he did I Just Got Paid

I still don't love the song, but it's a great song regardless. I was actually most impressed by the vocals this time, and how Saiki's English pronunciation has improved tremendously. Thank you, the warning! You are great musicians and great people too.❤
Give a try to David Lee Roth - Yankee Rose
Milli willi let pau pau sing to
Millie , you have to do something with your fade mic , very time you talk it takes the music volume down , and you talk a lot .
