- Welcome to the new “WeaselWood Furniture” episode!
Today I build a coffee table made out of left over acacia wood from previous projects. It’s a simple table in an upside down U-shape, with nice beveled edges and an oiled finish.
As mentioned I’m not the safest worker on the planet, but I take care about myself, so please don’t yell at me, don’t try this at home and work as safe as you feel comfortable with.

great contrast colors!
Hi Mirock
Thank you, I like the acacia wood, it's not so boring, the colortheme varies between yellow, over red to a nice deep brown, specially the cheaper wood has more variation and I like the look of it. ;)
looks great
I'm surprised you didn't use a few dominos. Nice little project.
Penny Royal dominoooooooooo
Hi Penny
Usually I would use some, but I had bad experience with them on beveled corner joints, at least with this kind of wibly wobly wood.
Also it don't need to be reinforced, the glueing joint should be more than sufficiant.
On the next project... ;)
What type of oil? Did it soak it fine?
You don't need your blade that high.
Finden deine Kanal gut.
So I did it too :D just using Stodoys woodworking plans :)
