Believing he's an "unchangeable dog" is part of what drove him to cover his tracks. I am not condoning his behavior, we are all responsible for what we do... and that includes those who say and do things that inspire other's actions. They're a couple, they should be supporting each other and willing to let the bad parts of themselves go so the best parts can surface. But "unchangeable dog" is antithetical to any part of a relationship. No one is unchangeable unless they choose to be.
