I'm so sick of seeing 'you're not pressing the keys' and 'it's not you playing' comments. I personally don't mind if it's pre-recorded. Being a pianist myself, to do a solo recording is hard to angle and sometimes at the position you put the camera it can totally make someone miss the key parts you wanted to stand out most. But the wonderful thing is, in music it's about what reaches the ears, not the eyes. So syncing or not, this cover was phenomenal.

A good player doesn't need to learn for this. He should be able to play that straight away. It's not that difficult.

Asish Reddy The easiest way is to practice playing things by ear. There are lots of tools out there to help you, just google it. Start with simple melodies, and give yourself information like the key/maybe an arpeggio then try to work out the notes that make it up.
It also helps to sit at your piano/keyboard and play a note, then play another note within the octave a few notes apart. Teach yourself to tell the difference between different distances.
