If you’re curious about the collectibles hunt.. I’ve already collected all the feathers In the areas I’ve unlocked in this video, also all the chests.
I’m addicted 😭
All of the glyphs and tombs I’ll do on screen for you guys tho ❤️
You rock! 👏
Your a legend🙌
new sub!!!!
Gunna play brotherhood thats the best one of ezio i think
Nice!
"It is a good life we lead, brother."
"The best. May it never change."
"And may it never change us."
These lines resonate with every AC fan out there
*Ezio's Family intensify
I'd put these lines up there with "Requiescat In Pace".
Emotional pain intensifies
ruclips.net/video/FSVHx23ByhM/видео.html
whenever a character says that it's usually foreshadowing their death, along with what Petruccio said right after you get the feathers
Shaun is pretty much like a cat. Rough at first, but the more you talk with him, when you're pulled out of the animus, the more he begins to loosen up. Lol, an acquired taste, but one of my favs :p
Kinda true. When you have you first interaction, youll like "lol nerd stfu", and in brotherhood youre like "hey there homes"
2:54 If you see Lucy's ring finger, she bent it to show she is a Assassin. The Hidden blade required the sacrifice of the ring finger from the user since it has a chance of going through the finger and cutting it. So instead of it happening in battle the Assassin's started doing it in a controlled environment and made it something like a oath. If you see closely in AC1 Altaïr's ring finger on his left hand is cut. That was until this game where the hidden blade was modified to not require the sacrifice.
And then its revealed that shes a abstergo spy which was fukin dumb asf ngl
Well that's false, because end of brotherhood and glyphs showed up that Lucy was actually templar
@@ghostriderfrommultiverse1035
1. That doesn't play a role
2. Don't spoil!!!
Aaaand also a small fact: there was a multiplayer in brotherhood, and it was indeed the hide n seek mode, where you needed to watch how the npc are acting to find a player and assassinate him. It was hella fun ngl
They really need to bring Brotherhood and Revelations style multiplayer back. Hell, I'd buy a game that was only that multiplayer.
OG Among Us 😂
@@Shadow977let’s hope Invictus brings it back
to you maybe, to me nothing ruins multiplayer more than forced PVP
@aaron75fy There were team co-op game modes like wolf pack..and team deathmatch sort of modes.
Desmond’s bleeding effect only unlocked towards the end of Ac1 which is why he got eagle vision, it doesn’t matter which ancestor he goes with he will inherit their abilities from this game forward. Altair was the more skilled assassin but like I said Desmond’s bleeding effect only activated towards the end so he just got his ev
The song that they were playing on the rooftop of the church is named "Ezio's Family." And after this game, it became the song of the franchise. In fact, after this game - each game has their own rendition of the song. That fits the theme.
I'm only at 46 minutes in, but I'm still letting you know:
- AC: Lineage is best viewed after AC2 story, as there are a bit of spoilers for the story.
- THere's AC: Embers animated film. It is short, and it takes place after AC: Revelations. So before jumping to AC3, watch Embers.
And I knew you would stick to the roofs. Florence is dence with them and really beautifull, especially with the music.
Speaking of which, the music that was played with Eio and Federico at the tower when the logo of the game showed up, is called "Ezio's Family" and it became so iconic, that starting with AC: Rogue and AC: Syndicate, it became the theme of the franchise, so in Rogue, Syndicate, Oriigns, Odyssey, Valhalla and probably in Mirage you will definitely hear a rendition of that theme.
So yeah, music of AC2 is iconic, Jesper Kyd did an amazing job.
Best example at the end of AC: Origins, the scene with Aya and Bayek at the beach, the music is slowly transitioning into the full Ezios Family theme. One of the most powerful and beautiful moments ins gaming history. Tears in my eyes and shivers down my spine. Sarah Schachner did an amazing job with that piece of music.
I can go on and on about how horrible RPG games are, but I will not deny that music in those games are still gorgeous.@@Moleman0815
12:57 Ezio is the most popular and beloved Assassin (rightly so)…but it is Altair who is the best/greatest overall Assassin of all time. Don’t want to spoil anything but as you progress through the franchise…you’ll understand why.
If you were grossed out by the leeches thing, it's because they used to think that removing blood from the body had both health and beauty benefits, but in actuality, it didn't and people have died from it causing blood loss by thinning the blood with the leeches special saliva 😊
That’s very interesting!
Also I was thinking that maybe they used leeches for medicinal reasonings due to the plague that was going around during this time?
So, there was a common belief that there were four 'humors', basically four kinds of liquid in the body, and that many conditions were the result of an imbalance between them. In particular, they thought fevers and inflammation were caused by having too much blood. Also, leeches produce an anesthetic when they bite, which has it's own uses. We actually still use leeches for certain medical treatments to this day, though it's pretty rare. @@SHSLBLAZE
I love stealth games too I got into them because of Hitman and after that it was Theif and Dishonor and when I found out about Assassin's Creed I fell in love with the series 😁
As an AC fan, Bro i am enjoying this ❤ this felt like a movie session with friend and the nostalgia aaah 😊
Fun fact: In the AC manuals (notes between Warren and Lucy), it is mentioned that Altaïr *can* swim, the reason he can't swim is because of a "glitch" in the animus.
That was great remembering these great games with you, welcome to the AC series!
"That song that they played earlier when we were on the rooftops with out brother, it was a good song."
Yeah it was so good they made it the official mascot soundtrack for the entire franchise. That's how much everyone loved Ezio and AC2.
I'm so glad you're enjoying this series!
This game is honestly my favorite of the ones I've played. Mostly due to a combination of the story being fantastic and the combat/gameplay being fun to use.
One thing I don't know if anyone will mention is that song you were enjoying so much in the beginning is called "Ezio's family" that song actually becomes integrated into the rest of the games, it sort of becomes the series theme song if you will.
Also I don't blame you for skipping the feathers. Those particular collectables are the bane of many players existence.
"Listen to the music here" three bards run up at the same time to give Ezio an unwanted serenade. Ezio then takes the bards' money instead of throwing money or tipping them. Iconic tbh.
I'm really enjoying this gameplay series and pumped for AC3 eventually. Brotherhood and Revelations come before 3 though and are also very good. thanks for sharing lol
shortest 3 hours of my life
fax
Ezio is played by Roger Craig smith, sonic the hedgehog himself
And that first Patzzi is played by Yuri Lowenthal
Another addition to collectables: If you see a Codex Page while in the city - collect it. The game would tell you their importance only further down the line. Collecting them upon seeing their icon the map would make things easier and convenient.
Feathers is optional, although their "bonus" will e available in the AC:Brotherhood
EDIT: So I've just finished watching the video and here's a bit of info. Check the blacksmith in cities after couple of main missions, as the items there could appear later on with better armor, swords and daggers. Also to refill your ammunitions. And dont be afraid to fill up your Medicine at full, you dont know when you'll need it. And speaking of which, also check Tailors in cities too, as they will have bigger ouches for medicine and ammo. Of cource you can spend mone to upgrading Monteriggioni, but I'd advise to get leather armor set first (sets are made up from boots, shoulders, bracers and chest pieces).
And the notion be you cannot progress at a certain point without collecting all the Pages
45:46 they basically broke 2 of the 3 rules the assassins have… hide in plain sight and never compromise the brotherhood (running in guns blazing)
Glad you're enjoying the game man! One thing I recommend is doing assassin tombs whenever you can. (I did it late game before the last mission and I regretted it so much 😂). Altair's armor is pretty sick and gives you more health + you don't have to spend florins for the armor repair. Anw, love your content man, I can't wait to see more of your AC series!
Being a huge AC fan, one thing that's got me all smiles is the fact that you seem to enjoy parkour/running around from roof to roof, and can actually do it well. I just hope you continue playing these games at least up until AC Unity cz that has the best parkour believe me
30:57 I would do anything to relive this moment as if it were the first time.
Honestly, I would like to just point out the beginning section of this game. I have been thinking about it while rewatching first game too, but I am not sure if this is just me. Storytelling in these old games feels different. AC1 had a good amount of exposition, and it also knew when to ask questions and when to answer them. Even the recap of AC1 at the beginning of this game seems so strange to me. It captures all the important things to know and does that in a very interesting way.
This is also my first time hearing AC games in English, and the last time I played them was like 7 years ago or so. I kinda remember the story, but there are so many details in writing that were missing because of the translation. It is so satisfying to find these missing pieces in your understanding of the story and go like: "Oh, yeah, that finally makes sense!"
I am new to your channel. I found it by chance and saw that you were playing my favorite Assassin’s Creed series with longer hours. Great reaction. Your knowledge and love of the series made me love you as a person and here I am, proudly subscribing to your channel.
thank you for this wonderful content, keep it up my friend ❤❤
You can actually use the broomstick as a weapon
Just go to the sweeper and grab him then pick up the weapon with B (Xbox)
Then enjoy with broomstick and it has the hammer sounds and hammer animations
Love your videos❤
Since you started reaction on ac trailers
NO WAY?! THATS DOPE
So excited to see you playing this game. It's ageless. My only tip would be to get familiar with parkour, get used to knowing how to land on certain surfaces and grabbing any handhold you can find if you accidentally make a crazy leap. Ezio is pretty good at saving himself when you get used to finessing him. Considering you kinda figured it out in the first game, this one will be a piece of cake. Looking forward to part 2!
TIPS:
-since u have double hidden blades, u can have a double air assassination and yes u need two enemies close to activate the double kill or stay in between them. tho u cant do double ledge and haystack assassination
-for double assassination, i think they will highlight the two targets, if i remember correctly
-doging is really important against high ranking enemies
-as much as possible upgrade your villa and grind more coins for your weapons, upgrades and armor. I think u dont need to upgrade the armor of altair once u retrieve it.
-to throw money select the money icon in your equipment and it will highlight to throw your money, its a good distraction to guards and civilians annoying you like the street musicians
-continue doing your offscreen grinding just as u did in ac1, your choice
-for the customization shops, basically change your color of your clothes
-i dont think throwing knives are good against the full metal gear guards, basically the fully armored guys
-dont forget to reduce your noriety
FACTS/OTHERS:
-pigeon on the ledges to do leap of faith were part of AC1, i remember u doing that at masyaf castle either accidentally or intentionally
-many stated that altair never got hurt on the battle/fight since its a "synchronization bar" and not health bar. So, altair never gotten hurt or injured
-Assassins: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted", while Templars: "May the Father of understanding guide us"
-someone on the comments explained the sacrifing the ring finger for the hidden blade
-atleast their some youtubers who did there best to stealthfully kill their targets in AC1 and some provided ways to kill them stealthily to most of the targets.
-i too prefer using stealth to kill my targets rather than head on especially in stealth games like metal gear
REMEMBER, this is fiction mix with historical events and figures
I want to say that I really like the way you play through the game. You try to complete all tasks, not just plot ones.
That's why I want to warn you: Prepare for heartbreak in Brotherhood... More than once
Ezio’s Family is so beautiful best game soundtrack ever
I am so glad you didnt gave up on assasins creed!!! Thanks for playing ac 2!! You are going to love the continuing story thats Assassins Creed Brotherhood!
Can confirm that using a guide to find all the collectibles is the way to go unless you want to waste 100s of hours trying to find them on your own. Which is hours you could be spending playing the other games lol
Doesn't take that long really, the game keeps track of how may you've collected in each city. Down to the exact amount in each district, in fact.
@@jadendobson9614 agreed, but when your someone who's playing through each game for the first time ever, it's time you could be enjoying the actual fun and interesting parts of the game and not doing repetitive stuff that will burn you out from the games after doing it 10ish times (hes playing every single game)
This was great, I've never watched someone experience an AC game for the first time before and you've made it a very fun time doing so, hope you have a lot of fun with these going forward.
In Brotherhood or Revelations there is multiplayer and it was so SO fun! Just like you wished, kind of hide and seek, every player has a target and is targeted by another player, its cat and mouse game of blending in and keeping an eye out if someone is following you, stealth kills etc gave more 'points'
OMG WHAT?! That sounds fun as hell! I would’ve loved to play that
Sadly no one plays anymore it’s dead 😔
I play it on AC 4
@@Shuichisaihara5499 brotherhood and revelations multiplayer is dead
You're way better at this game then i was.
Maybe because i played it on the nintendo switch and the controls were very annoying when i had to chase or flee.
I needed my thumb to press 'B' to run fast but also to change direction 🤦🏼♀️.
Glad that was only in the Ezio Collection.
I love how you understand the story and game and much better then i did to be honest.
I also love that you do sidequests. I always want to do everything in a game that i can do.
You havnt tried to go dye your clothes!
I only played Black Flag, AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and am now playing AC3 (The only games available for Nintendo switch).
The costumazations in AC2 and Black flag are my favourite! And really the best.
I changed or dyed my clothes so many times hahaha. You should try it to!
Im loving seeing you play this masterpiece, ac2 is my childhood
half way in.. and I love the fact that u read all the notes and stuff.. learning shit I skipped by beeing lazy..
also thats the second video I saw of u and I like ur personality^^ first one was portal 1 .
the first game was literally just a tech demo that they decided to add missions to in order to make a proof of concept and to see if it would sell well. it did so they put all their resources into 2.
thats why its such a jump in quality.
By the way, I don't know if anyone has already told you or if you already know... but for the glyphs, the eyes are marked in red in the database in the locations section. So you have to go to the indicated location and search the area for the glyphs.
man, i love ac1 and ac2s worlds, they are in my opinion the best games in the series
Let’s gooooooooooo. Peak gaming right here
You are the best letsplayer I have come across in a long while. You actually listen to the story. Streamers are ok.. at most.. But you pick up a lot of the small things in the story that others don't. It makes your playthroughs enjoyable to watch! You remind me of TetraNinja. Keep going bro!
Hey, I see you, bro
Meet Ezio Auditore da Firenze! One of the greatest video game characters of all time!
The nostalgia BLAST I got from that main menu!! (I again apologise for the extremely long comment):
The jump in graphics from 1 to 2 is a little insane, yes! Like the vibes are the same but more polished, and the fact that you immediately leave Abstergo after being stuck in one room all first game and actually fighting as Desmond feels wild lol And the database? I spent hours reading it back in the day hahaha
Ezio’s hero’s journey starting out as one of revenge while Altair’s is one of self improvement and growth is also very interesting!
1:46:50 the game HAS multiplayer and it is kinda like hide and seek! (More like, hide and try not to be assassinated lol) no idea if it’s still active tho, but a few of the later games have that mode as well!
2:27:32 When Ezio says that yes, they were given proper burial he’s referring to the fact that he avenged their deaths, so it’s half a lie, I suppose lol and it gives Claudia some comfort.
Also, remember to read the codex in the database from time to time, as they show little bits and pieces of Altair’s life post AC1.
Also, also, “Ezio’s Family” (the song that started at the prologue, with Ezio and Federico on the roof) sorta became a theme for the whole assassin’s creed series, it’s just so iconic.
Nah, Shaun is a good guy you'll soon understand that. But for now he can be described as tired and scared. And this is kind of his defense mechanism - to grumble so as nobody not to tire or didn't scare him even more.
Funny thing about bribing the herald to lower notoriety is you can steal your money back right after you give it to him 😊
the second you said you love stealth man, YESSS
instant sub
Bro I literally JUST. Finised up the Ezio collection again and then found your channel, talk about perfect timing👌🏾. Its awesome seeing this journey through the eyes of a history buff
Another great video. A really good game I would recommend if you haven't played it is minecraft story mode. It's a Hella underrated story game that I know you would really enjoy ^^.
1:58:43 No text data means it's a diagram...a drawing of some weapon or technique that Altair had compiled...you need to use the zoom button at the bottom to see the drawing
I really love your energy found you on your PVZ videos can't wait for more of this game imo one of the best AC games
Respect+ I was never able to beat douchio before he ran. 😂
You should definitely read all the codex pages, they expand on Altair’s story in a way. And you can zoom in on the images with the Y button I think
I real love your walkthrough man, keep doing that homie, i wish you luck with that👍🔥
You uploaded just in time! I was just sitting down to eat lol. I wasn't expecting you to get to it this fast.
Oh god, he finally played it!
If you lose the race against Federico the game uninstalls itself. Also, I couldn't help but to laugh when you stole the civilian's money and then was surprised when "Somebody stole someone's money?" 1:45:48. It's just one of those moments that makes it worth it to watch reactions to games and movies. Anyway, you paid attention to a lot of stuff I didn't and I have played this game several times, that also makes it interesting. People really experience games differently, espcially open world games.
Im surprised you didnt think to throw the guys over the bridge in the beginning. The moment i first learned you could pick up bodies was the moment all those men drowned lol.
It's a really great game loved it. 😀 You could renovate yr town more effectively by doing the stores first then every thing else you get more that way. You can find the statue's around town n when placed on the pedestals u receive big money. Collecting all the feathers gets u stuff 50 gets u a war hammer weapon n all 100 helps yr mother's recovery n the family cape. 😃😁🌟
ok i have a few tips for you after also replaying ac 2 and finishing it:
Get that altiair armor as soon as possible. The armor doesnt only give you a LOT of health but also it doesnt break so you never have to repair it. For me, the best armor.(also after getting this armor youll get access to buy the altair sword wich you can buy in the blacksmith next to villa auditore, it might be expensive but its worth it being the best sword in the game)
I would try to get those codexpages as soon as possible cuz at the end (without spoilers) you will need all of them and it happend to me that i didnt collect any of them and i spend an hour just having to collect them else i couldnt progress.
Its kind of broken but imagine a group of soldiers and you assassinate 1, while the other might spot you you can still assassinate them because you only enter combat after like 5 sec after getting spotted.
You can dodge when you hold right click and then tap space when strong enemies attack you.
Dont spend all your florin on the villa since it isnt necessary to continue the main story or the even finish the game keep your florin for medicine, larger medicine packs and armor.(As the game progresses there will be a variety of ammunition to buy.
Thats all i can come up for now it has actually been a while since i finished the game i already refinished brotherhood so i might have forgotten a few things. Not spoiling anything for brotherhood but you will LOVE that game.
If you have further questions you can always ask me, have fun!
Man I seen your reaction to the assassins creed trailers and I am in your boat with history we would not have science math ect without history all the advancements we make are history and up until recently assassins creed was a fun way to learn some history if not just get teens/young adults at least interested enough to research on things they have seen in the game and maybe even turn them full into full history buffs and the fact that it was not a one and done thing and you may play all of the greats is something I look forward to watching as well as re playing them myself as of now consider me subscribed
I absolutely love your enthusiasm 🙌
Nice video! I can’t wait to see you play through this amazing series!
Assassin's Creed Lineage is a prequel video produced by Assassin's Creed 2. In order to deepen the plot, we recommend you watch it.
the funny thing about multiplayer in ths game is: AC2, brotherhood, revalations, 3 and 4 actually had MP, but currently servers are dead
found your channel today with this video of my favourite game, and I love your personality, keep it up brotha
Love the video great work very enjoyable seeing someone experience one of my favorite games. Small money tips you can hold the steal button when walking into a crowd to rob multiple people easily and if you bride a Herald you can rob him afterwards to get your money back
I’m not even 5 minutes in yet and I’m excited to see you play. I just watched your reaction to all the trailers last night. It was awesome to get the perspective of someone who obviously seems to knows a good amount of history. I myself have just started replaying the series starting with AC2. And I am just so hyped for it and to hear your thoughts about this game/protagonist.
I love your content!!
Ezio said that they were given proper burial is actually true bcz in ac brotherhood there are side missions in which you revisit florence as young ezio
In that there is a mission of giving them proper burial after they were hanged
u right bro, soundtracks so underrated in AC2, I still listen to few of them until today :)
I cannot wait for you to get to assassins creed 3, you seem super excited for it and im excited to see you play it aswell.
Brotherhood and Revelations come first
i know but still, he seems extremely excited for it in his cinematic reaction video@@parsman9914
Hell yeah! Im here for all of these games!
Oh shit I'm gonna have to watch you play each of the games now ain't I ? lmao
If you're really into stealth games, I think you'd have a ton of fun with Hitman: World of Assassination if you aren't familiar. I don't think I've ever seen a franchise do world building quite so convincing as those games. I'm sure it'd be fun for the channel too if you're so inclined.
I just finished the game for the first time yesterday, watching this and now i realize just how bad my skill issue was 😭😭 it took me forever to pick up the climbing mechanics
AC II is amazing, I love that game, especially the soundtrack.
It was too enjoyable watching you get hyped over the stores and other stuff in this game man, I felt like I was replaying it for the first time myself almost. Thanks for this video
To see you have so much fun with this game is great man🔥😂 I only just had my first playthrough last year and it makes me wanna go back to play it again already
Loving this series man you’re doing great
15:40 i believe thats a stereotype that came to be from history, as the same happened with germans
So I'm only part way through this video but have noticed somethings through out this video and your playthrough of Assassin's Creed 1.
You may have figured this out or maybe some comments mentioned this in one of the later videos but I haven't gotten there yet, but in Assassin's Creed 1, the Ezio trilogy, 3, Black Flag and Rouge you can catch ledges or the side of buildings by holding down the B button on your Xbox controller to avoid fall damage. Also while running up a wall if you move your movement stick left or right and try to jump you can both change your direction and send yourself flying to a ledge or beam on either side of you and reach higher places, you can also do this with no extra movement input to jump off the wall and turn around to grab something behind you with a little extra hight. These are just some basic movement techniques that you would eventually figure out on your own if you played around with the parkour enough but I figured this might be more helpful.
Leonardo da Vinci most likely had access to the Akashic Records, ordinary individuals cannot came with inventions like that just by trying to visualize it
This is where it all started. We saw him come to life, we saw him die peacefully. Assassin's Creed 2 and the sequels are the rise of this franchise.
P.S. Shaun is the best character from now on and it's not even close. I love him.
Shaun grows on you with time. I guess they figured they pushed the British stereotype a bit too hard in this game. But I never cared that much about the present day storyline anyway, it tried to be the heart of the story for a while but it never was to me. Rather, it was more of a distraction.
I love how the ending for assassins creed 1 enters 2
It always hits u into a brickwall when this game starts.
U going to have a field day with the rest of ezio story
What's funny is that Ducio is a reoccurring character in the Ezio trilogy and it's soo fucking funny by revelations 😂😂
"So I'm guessing I'll collect these feathers for the brother, that's sweet."
Bruh 😅
emotional damage
Bro you jumping off high roofs on ground is kinda cannon for young Ezio, remember ac II cinematic? 😂
This has to be the best assassin creed game no other assassin creed has a better story then assassin creed 2
If you like Stealth Games you should definitely check out Styx: Master of Shadows, it's a really fun stealth/thief game with a great story, absolutely one of my favorites!
I'm late but Ezio's voice may sound familiar because his voice actor's name is Roger Craig Smith, he voiced Deidara from Naruto and the current voice of Sonic the Hedgehog
34:40 na bro it doesn’t bother me at all
it just shows that you’re a real gamer
a completionist
All in all W Gameplay
If you notice at 49:41 Ezio pulls off a Jedi mind trick on Claudia to want duchio to die😂
Personally I think the Ezio Trilogy is the best way to play AC2, AC Brotherhood and AC Revelations.
Has all the DLC built in, and has the two shorts as well.
Anyone else notice Lucy's missing ring finger is back in this game
I've 100% this game 3 times as of yesterday. My favourite of the one's I've played. It was nice to play it at 60fps on Xbox Series X. The 1st 2 times I played through it was on PS3 then Xbox 360. 1st time I played it was 2011.
Last in the series I've finished was Liberation which is set alongside 3. Going to go through them all this time, I got so far in 4 and then a glitched side quest made me rage quit the series 6 years ago lol. The solution to unglitch that side quest i recently discovered was as simple as quit the quest, exit animus, enter animus retake quest. So I'm going back through the series.
Extra points for paying attention to to what's going on in the game, a lot of streamers tend to talk over important story points, this goes for movies as well as games.
PS: Ezio's story is my favourite in series so far. Haytham Kenway is my favourite character in the franchise so far.
Interesting fact, the Villa Auditore does exist, although it does not exist in the town of Monterrigioni, nor is it called the Auditore Villa. (Obviously.)
The real villa is called the Villa di Maiano. Search it up, very pretty.
The architect ripped off Ubisoft, what nerve!
Fun fact about the blending in mission, you can bypass it just by following her on the rooftops. you have to stay behind her or she'll just stop moving
to find collectables u can purchase maps from shops which will reveal locations of those u wanna find
