shooting, puck handling, and skating are generally the first things any hockey player focuses on. its the one aspect of the game you can spend all day perfecting by your self and translate to the game. a goalie has to adjust to the speed of each level of play, and each individual player they face.

Surprised this video even had 4 minutes of content. Coaching staff and management is a joke. No Andrew Cristall, No David Goyette, No Riley Heidt, no Luke Misa. None of them even invited to camp (which started way too late btw). How will Hockey Canada justify these omissions once the team finishes 4th? Inviting them and cutting them after a bad camp is one thing, not even giving them the chance to tryout is another. Horrendous.

The two-line pass rule was eliminated in the NHL in 2004. So the pass from the defending zone just has to be on-side. That is, the puck must precede the attacking players into the attacking zone.
But you are correct that the outlet pass on the first U. S. goal looked like it was off-side.
