That was a great area 1. The build is a bit pricey for my taste and you have standard symbiosis problems like the immobilization/machine gun combo being about 6 cost more often than not without some clever card plays and some luck, but everything does kinda work. The infection makes them cough and sometimes and easy target for your guns, explosives/air burst trap also serve the same purpose. Having creatures in general can also combo with guns nicely and it felt like your cards worked well except maybe the quick draw and mod recycler. I don't really like mod recycler myself especially when running high cost cards since the energy you get is negated by the increased cost, and the recycler does make your discount and hypercharge normal price when using symbiosis back to back. None of this is an inherent problem it just makes your build take a bit more skill to use efficiently. One thing that can help is to think what your best and worst possible outcomes are before you actually play. For instance using the immobilizing rounds and machine gun combo can potentially cost the full 7 energy if played at the beginning of the game. Now that's a bit conditional and you'd be right to say that this won't happen often but what will happen often is losing out on the symbiosis benefit when relying on a combo that utilizes 2 cards of the same type. When you play a real match you have significantly less time to think things through in the heat of the moment especially when the opposition is tough. So even if you have a plan you should know what the plan looks like at it's worst because it might just happen when you can't do anything about it.
@unclecuddles5232 I ran this buold because my cheap creatures builds lost me 5 games in a row and this random ass shit pulled off this fun ass game. I don't it will work this well but I needed that win for sure. I need to level up my nicholai but I can't seem to get a flow with his gun builds idk my atupe doesn't gel with it.
@@servingzombies Yeah nicholai can be tough if you don't like guns. You definitely need modified gear and modified recoil spring (the one that makes guns shoot faster), at least I always do. Speed is pretty important for guns. Some people like to use mag expansion but I tend to prefer his efficiency passive since a lot of times you will need to disarm your guns to prevent getting shot out and adding time to the clock and at that point no amount of ammo will help. His tracking rounds passive is best until you get his usbc monitor (the creature variant) and then you can start to make really decent gun/creature hybrid builds.
