Nice informational video Jimmy, I use my Dewalt recip to cut exposed roots out of my yard so they won't tear my mower up, works great.
Thanks Jimmy and keep'm coming. :)
Thats a brilliant use John and it certainly saves those chains on the chainsaws.
Thanks for watching,
Jimmy 👍
Yes it surely does and anytime sir.
👍
Thank you! Your instructions were just what I needed! Great job. 😊
My absolute pleasure, I'm so glad it helped 👍
Good one Jimmy.. that's next on my list.. hope all is good
It's a good bit of kit. Saved us a load of hassle with the chainsaws over the last weekend.
Thanks for watching Mick, I really appreciate it 👍
Hi Jimmy Nice One I've had a a hitachi saw for years used it for small trees Very Handy Thanks
Brilliant, I can't believe I've only just thought of using one. It will make life so much easier when nipping off low branches so I can get the mower through.
Thanks for watching,
Jimmy 👍
Nice saw great for cutting roots
You are the 2nd person to say that. I must give it a go 👍
Another cutting edge video but not sure where the tree come from 😂
It's a huge oak, dropped that limb a few days ago
@@JimmyTheMower 👏🏻👏🏻
Looks like it would be ideal for dealing with trees in my garden.
It certainly would. You will have to give it a go 👍
Great video
Thank you. Much appreciated 👍
Legend mate ❤
Thank you 👍
There a great tool those saws Jimmy,I know the Thieves use them to nick the catalytic converters off cars 🚗🤣🤣anyway another great review as always mate keep up your great work mate.👍👍👍
Oh dear 😳
Thanks for watching mate 👍
Thoughts on using a lubricant to speed it up or save the blade from wear?
Now that sounds like an excellent idea.
I will give it a blast and see how much difference it makes.
Thank you 👍
Thank you for that.
My absolute pleasure 👍
What makes a blade break? 7:46
People twisting the machine normally or cutting through nails etc.....
Instead of a bi=metal blade, try using a nine inch pruning blade, or even a wood blade.
Kinda pricy at box stores(HD n Lowes), but a five pack at Harbor Freight under $10
Thanks for the tip, I will look out for some of those 👍
😂 that's exactly what I said! It makes a HUUUGE difference! I'm cutting down 8"-10" tree's with mine for a pole barn. Got 10 acres, and don't need a Home depot except for screws and wood glue
I'm just thinking out loud, but isn't that a bi-metal blade?? I'm sure a wood cutting blade would eat that limb in half the time
I will have to try one next time
Are you a dewalt or makita man?
Definitely Dewalt at the moment 👍
Oh no
Not another one 🤣🤣🤣
Why is it that when people use a reciprecating saw they still can't help moving the saw like a normal saw back and forward. Even you were doing it. 😂
Every single time 🤣🤣🤣
You buy the thing so you don't have to move it backwards and forwards and then you still do anyway 🤣🤣🤣
You mean like orbiting?
Exactly 🤣
It actually helps to create a ridge the cut through the thinner part. Another reason if you have a blade that's constantly cutting on just a few teeth and begin to dull in that area. Moving it around can speed up the process by letting sharper teeth do the job. Added bonus the most used teeth get less use. Have you ever used one before?
Not again
You love it really 😂😂
@@Phillippa yes but don’t tell Jimmy
