A stunning watch, Barry and thanks to Niall for arranging for you to review it. I can see where the money has been spent. The dial and the view of the works from the reverse are outstanding. It is interesting that ceramic cases seem to be advancing in quality watches. I like the yellow hands for measuring elapsed time. As Niall observed the white hands which tell the time are by contrast easily overlooked. Personally I have no use for a tachymeter, except as a potential plaything, but I can see real quality here. Fabulous.

This is Omega at there very best, I think its a real strand out model only way to improve it would be to make it a little smaller

It is a gorgeous watch. I own one and its such a joy just exploring all the details. Should come with its own loupe just to marvel at it. Sort of watch you just spend time soaking up, not just a timeteller. Just a minor point, but the movement is not co-axial. This is a highly decorated version of the standard previous gen 1861 moonwatch movement, manual wind, no hacking, cam lever chrono, swiss lever escapement. But that's the movement that was flight qualified and has been in speedmasters since the last days of the 60s. Just another noticable difference vs standard speedmasters is the winding feels and sounds just amazing, much lighter with such a positive click. Sounds silly but it was that winding feel that actually tipped the balance for me. For a watch that is so interactive amd you wind pretty much everyday it makes such a difference.

@@ClickSpringReview I thought your video was great. Didn't mean to criticise and well they bang on about coaxial and metas so much it's an easy mistake to make... I think people can be put off this watch by the seemingly old tech inside... while actually it's a really important authentic link with real benefits you hear and feel everyday you wear it. Too many omega ltd editions are a bit gimmicky and easy to dismiss... this just doesn't feel like one of those and the movement is the main reason for it... also all the other DSOTM models do have the coaxial metas movements. Cheers dude.

Honestly Andy thats perfectly ok sir, and if I make a mistake which can happen as I'm only human, and after all they are only my opinions and we are all different . This watch is just amazing the details are simply stunning. The Speedmaster in my opinion has become a bit of a joke with all of its LE models but this one stands out in its own right

Now that, Barry, is absolutely spiffing... The quality is there both in the engineering and finishing, and while I wouldn't buy this version of the Moonwatch I can quite understand the enthusiasm of owners. I won't mention that the engraving of the Moon surface isn't on the dark side, but I won't tell if you won't... 😂😉 . Thanks Barry, enjoy the rest of your weekend m8. Cheers, Bob 🍻 🥨

I've always considered buying this model. I can't believe there are watch collectors that look at this piece as an "ok" watch. I'm sure any other brand would charge double for this level of finishing. At the original 9k price this is a steal. I love the fact that because Omega isn't a hype brand you can wear something like this and still fly under the radar. 10/10

My favourite version of the speed master. Surprised it was magnetised Omega coaxial moments is 15,000 gauss. And being ceramic if that's dropped the watch is a write off lol

As always another great video unfortunately I was hoping to see something different her but same old same old, for me the Omega Speedmaster is one of the most over rated watches on the planet
