I'm an INFP. I main Cloud (LOVE FF7) I think any type that uses Si in their top 4 functions should also be considered likely to use any character that really resonated growing up, cuz, you know, nostalgia.
Then again, my ENFJ friend mains Bnjo cuz of Nostalgia, yet rarely plays him unless it's SUPER sweaty, cuz everyone hates Banjo so... 🤷

I’m ISTP and the search history part was hilarious. However, I would only mash buttons if I suck at a character. But I did used to have an interest in Peach and Kazuya before. For Peach, she used to be one of my secondaries. I would try to make combos with her such as starting it off with the turnip attack. As for Kazuya, I thought I could be rigged until how challenging he is. Odd how I like playing him more in Tekken 7

It's not about the four letters, it's about the functions. Find what your dominant function and auxillary function are, and you will no longer "bounce" between types so much.

As an INFP you nailed it, I love Dedede as he’s just fun to watch on screen. Doesn’t matter that he’s considered one of the worst, I’ll never stop playing him as he’s just too entertaining.

Loved the concept of this video, but as an ENTP, I thoroughly disagree with most these takes. And not just because I like playing devil's advocate (which I do lol) but you totally glossed over how much ENTPs love to have just stupid fun. And I would never entertain the idea of maining Little Mac, although, I did for a short time consider the idea of maining Ganondorf lol, but quickly dropped that idea and have been stuck to Zelda ever since.

I main Pyra/Mythra in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I do a mix of Online battles and Level 9 CPUs. But when I fight King Dedede - mostly the CPUs - I always have a hard time fighting him. I wanted to ask you if it’s just me or Aegis vs. Dedede is a hard matchup.
If it’s not just me, please consider giving me a tip on how to improve against Dedede.
King Dedede is actually a super easy matchup for Pyra/Mythra. However, he's got a big range, he's super heavy, his gordos have multiple angles, and his multiple jumps give him mixups that other characters don't have. All this makes him more difficult to battle against at the beginning, but once you get more fluent with his options (especially his gordos) then you'll soon learn that he really doesn't have much to worry about compared to the Aegis.

As an ENTP, I concur, I love to be devils advocate, I find arguments on different things both fun, and rewarding, and argue primarily to learn rather then. I main Lucario and have been trying Robin out, I used to play more sonic and pacman but that just didnt work.
My type is Mediator, but my mains are Executive, and my playstyle is Entrepreneur. This mishmash probably explains how Pokémon Trainer reached my top 3...
I took the test years ago. I forgot exactly what my result was, but they said I had the same personality type as Sherlock Holmes and (I kid you not) Sans from Undertale. Even now, I'm not sure if I should be happy or concerned.

I started with Brawl in 2020 (Kirby main!), and then transitioned to Ult in September that same year (still Kirby, I think he is cute). I only started playing Mario in 2021 and still play him to this day. Haven't tried playing Falcon yet though :/

Got 3 right: INTP maining (as a sec) yoshi, and apparently INFP fitting for the other 50% of my autism! And yeah, actually maining DDD and Mii Gunner! Also a Villager main to fit with the mood, and a bit less Puff and Mewtwo for the same reason, not for the "arktually" (I do have a past of this ISTP kind tho).
True main is Ridley, only "normal" character sec-main is Bowser; tried other characters with 2 jumps, not floaty, and straightforward recovery: didn't go far. Never tried popular characters. Could main ROB to get the best of both worlds. Unironically telling a bit more than barnum woo!

Lmfao I'm INFJ and I main Mewtwo, that's spot on. Although Mewtwo is apparently an INTJ. Great video. It gave me a good laugh because of the stereotypes. That being said though, we make a difference in the world based on what people need, not what they want cause those monkeys are too lazy to do the right thing. INFJs values are based on others, not on themselves. I guess if people say we helped them, we actually succeeded to make them see a new perspective then. One day they'll understand introverted intuition...one day. Besides, if nobody makes the effort to play Mewtwo seriously, I don't see how we could be sure of the character's true potential lol. And Wii-Fit is now recognized to be a pretty decent character in Ultimate despite being a weirdo. Take that! One day they'll see the light my friend...one day.
