KD played 75 games. The only issue was coaching. Frank Vogel was not the guy for this team after Ayton left. Problem was the Suns had already committed to Frank by then.

Guys the super team thing belongs to Lebron. He’s the only one with “consistent results”. The others really don’t have what it takes to keep up when you assemble players like that. We saw him do it in Miami, Cleveland and the Lakers. He’s won with 3 different versions of a super team. No one else has 1 more than one. I just realized how ironic the Suns-Timberwolves series was. The Timberwolves go all in on Rudy Gobert and have an insanely expensive roster that you immediately assume is going to underperform and cause trouble to the organization due to payment locks, but it turns out to be an amazing experiment 2 years in. Meanwhile, the Suns have a similar notion going all in on Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal taking their future to this experiment and it turns out to be a tumultuous ride from the jump. The roster is too expensive, and the team has no future because they bet on the wrong pieces. The Timberwolves went all in on defense and the Suns went all in on offense.

KD has got to be the only player I have seen in history that was looking like he was top 15, but due to other players he played with succeeding without him, he has dropped back to in the 20s. And he cant come back unless he wins. The single worst thing that could have ever happened to KD's legacy is Steph winning again with the Warriors without KD. Not only did that happen, but in that same year he got swept by the same team the Warriors beat. Wow.
And KD's numbers were down against the very same team Steph and the Dubs beat, and Curry dropped 30 points per game against the best defensive team in that season (the Warriors were second with a razor-thin difference).

Beal was one of the worst moves for Phoenix... I don't understand why teams don't build actual teams. Role players are what make and break a team. Going for Beal, an iso player with injury problems when you have Book already isn't smart. He cost too much money. He isn't producing enough on both ends. And the KD curse is real. Should have invested in a Guard, Rose and Lowry was available at some point, got more role players around them, and worried about the defensive side of the ball. Everything isn't Iso, Iso, Iso. Have a real team system. That's why the Suns were good 2020-2022.

Mat Ishbia has screwed this team for the foreseeable future. Idk how looked at this roster after the KD trade and though that Bradley Beal would fill the holes in it. As soon as KD was brought in, depth should've been the priority, especially if both CP3 and Ayton were gonna be traded. Only ONE of them was used for that purpose. On top of that, James Jones didn't want to trade for KD; Ishbia forced it through. A rebuild may be their best choice at this point. They simply can NOT run this back.

He played great with the warriors because he was undeservedly confident, and his team took all the pressure off of him. Ever since then, he’s had to be the leader, and has had to carry more of a load. Roster construction has been shotty for him since the dubs, but that’s also his fault for forcing himself into those situations.
