So this is a prequel showing Puss as a hero who won't even rob a bank and his most violent act is shaving someone, but then in Shrek 2 he's a hired assassin?
13:28 "Humpty, I'm sorry I hurt you" Humpty set Puss up, ruined his reputation, lied to him, almost got him killed several times and threw him in jail and it's Puss that has to apologize?!
Probably because Puss felt responsible for how Humpty turned out by not putting their friendship first. Yes, Humpty abused that friendship, and had unreasonable expectations of it, but Puss still felt remorseful for committing that act of betrayal in turn.
The movie showed that he was able to leave the shackles whenever he wanted because they were too wide to contain his hands. I demand a subtraction of a sin
I was looking in the comments for this. Cinemasins completely skipped the comedic scene where Jack (THE guy who survived the initial experience of the whole Beanstalk thing. Conveniently skipped that too...) moved his hands from his shackles and then put them back in.
13:15 ya remember one of the parts where Andy slipped his hands out of the shackles to tell Puss in Boots not to say Humpty's name and then put them back in as a natural reaction thing? It was a joke that the creators did, and him coming out with Puss furthers that joke. They didn't forget he was shackled to the wall, Andy was the one forgetting he could take his hands out
Cinemasins: "Why would anyone make a nursery rhyme about that?" Nursery rhymes: *were literally meant to scare children into behaving in the medieval times*
I remember this one, I don't exactly remember the rhyme that much, but I know it had something to do with a ax, and a person killing her mother and father
I always noticed something that many people didn't notice: Kitty Softpaws is a ripoff of Mittens from Bolt. Humpty's face does kinda fall into the uncanny valley. He doesn't look THAT atrocious tho, there's worse stuff out there like hedgehogs with human teeth or cgi cat furry demons. XD
The reason I got annoyed as a kid is because all of the cinema posters and banners showed Humpty with a devious smile or a face like 12:00. It was SO obvious he was the bad guy before we even went in to watch it.
This is just another way to make a Shrek movie for the franchise. Please do Mr. Peabody and Sherman next. Anyways, thanks for the sins, Cinemasins Crew!!!
This movie has some beautiful scenes. Also Andy wore the shackles because he wanted to. When Puss says Humpty's name Andy pulls his hands out of the shackles.
Those few adult jokes and the tension that Puss and Kitty had made me suddenly question how Dreamworks isn't afraid to put this sh*t in a movie and claim that it's for kids 😂😂😂
the reason they can't pull out whatever they want is because it's not a creative mode inventory, it's a bag of holding, they can magically pull out whatever is in their bag of golding
In the beginning, he stated that one of his “names” was Chupacabra. When the woman yelled “Chupacabra,” she was referring to his name. **Reverse ding**
I literally watched this movie for the first time about half an hour ago (don't ask why or how I didn't by this point) and as soon as I saw that scene with the "P" and the triangle floating in it I instantly knew it's getting a sin
At 4:21, the Norwegian dub actually had a clever joke. In Norwegian we have a saying which (roughly translates to) “They’re not lightly boiled” It makes more sense in Norwegian which makes the reaction of the cat so much more funnier imo
for the shackles thing: you see him take his hands out when he says “don’t say his name!” and he purposely put them back in when he was saying “i used to share a cell with that smelly thing”. the shackles were very loose
I know I’m a bit late, but when the crew enters the giant’s castle they say their voices go back to normal because of normal air pressure despite the fact that a rather large hole can be seen in the wall behind them. Movie does not know how to atmospheric pressure and their voices should still be squeaky.
Cinemasins is going to have their work cut out for them in the sequel. I can find some sins like various "that's not how physics works", "Puss is a dick to ______", etc. But still, they're going to have to go full asshole mode to get a properly high sin total.
It could have been a decent movie if they made it its own thing with nothing to do with Dora. Just about an exploror girl or something. My friends and I spent a whole five minutes fixing the plot lol.
Fun fact, when this came out I was about six and a half. I remember renting it for a special movie night with my sister at home and it was the very first movie that ever made me cry. I didn’t really understand why my eyes watered when humpty sacrificed himself but I guess my little six year old heart was moved. Watched it again 10 YEARS LATER out of curiosity and my god it was so mid.
13:21 While I would usually agree with you, there was an earlier moment when he took his hands out of the shackles meaning they were only in them because he wanted them to be.
With how many comments there are about that, maybe he just brought up something like that because he knows what he's doing. He's basically inciting RUclips comments to promote the algorithm for his videos by putting in an error he knows people will point out in droves before they can check to see if anybody else already has.
Just to clarify one of the sins: the Jack escaping thing wasn’t unprecedented. During the dialogue between Jack and Puss, Jack’s hands slip out of the shackles when he goes, don’t say his name!’ Proving he could have gotten out of them at any time and decided not to lol.
I'm adding a hundred sins for the fact that when my family and I went to see this movie, this family came in and sat right behind us even though the whole damn rest of the theater was empty.
1:47 This is true even irl. Although it was over a decade ago, I still remember when I got my dad to jump rope with me, and, after a few jumps, his pants fell down, and it started raining immediately afterwards.

Humpty's face does kinda fall into the uncanny valley. He doesn't look THAT atrocious tho, there's worse stuff out there like hedgehogs with human teeth or cgi cat furry demons. XD
@@cintronproductions9430 I guess you have a point 😅
The reason I got annoyed as a kid is because all of the cinema posters and banners showed Humpty with a devious smile or a face like 12:00. It was SO obvious he was the bad guy before we even went in to watch it.

@@notfloweyyt7618 If you think this is a "godly" movie then you've never seen some of the masterpieces, like Coco, THAT is a godly movie.
Ok I won’t lie.
And it was for comedy
But yeah.
*Coco Is Godly*
@Ahtashajahnae Cook it would be neat if people could read what you say without getting their eyes bleeding
"Oh, oh, yolk me baby" got me😂😂😂
This is just another way to make a Shrek movie for the franchise. Please do Mr. Peabody and Sherman next. Anyways, thanks for the sins, Cinemasins Crew!!!

Pfffft you actually watch movies instead of just enjoying them by proxy through cinemasins?

"Oh oh, yolk me baby!"
im dead.
Man I freaking love this movie. It'll never get old.
6:00 he implies 1 ginger bread man. When we all know at least 2 have existed because of shrek 2. *DING*
"Without a melody, I don't think you can consider it a song, you narcissistic omelette." XD
In the beginning, he stated that one of his “names” was Chupacabra. When the woman yelled “Chupacabra,” she was referring to his name. **Reverse ding**
movie: "exists"
cinema sins: "So you have chosen, DEATH"
If you told me that this would be prequel for one of best movies I would bot believe you
Even as a kid, I was glad when that weird egg died.
wait why?
I love that Zorro played the feline equivalent of Zorro
Why does this movie seem very different than I remember it?? I swear I've seen this movie, but I don't remember anything
Omfg same
I literally watched this movie for the first time about half an hour ago (don't ask why or how I didn't by this point) and as soon as I saw that scene with the "P" and the triangle floating in it I instantly knew it's getting a sin
You sinned the movie because she called Puss a Chupacabra when in the intro he said that one of his names among people is Chupacabra.
At 4:21, the Norwegian dub actually had a clever joke. In Norwegian we have a saying which (roughly translates to) “They’re not lightly boiled” It makes more sense in Norwegian which makes the reaction of the cat so much more funnier imo
@0:56 so brave yet so controversial. The firework people are gonna get you 😭😭😭
for the shackles thing: you see him take his hands out when he says “don’t say his name!” and he purposely put them back in when he was saying “i used to share a cell with that smelly thing”. the shackles were very loose
That furry lover line totally went over my head as a kid.
I know I’m a bit late, but when the crew enters the giant’s castle they say their voices go back to normal because of normal air pressure despite the fact that a rather large hole can be seen in the wall behind them. Movie does not know how to atmospheric pressure and their voices should still be squeaky.
The old man is shown to get his hands out of the shackles and putting them back at will. He seem to enjoy it.
The sequel is such a major fucking improvement
Let's applaud the accuracy of weight distribution when Humpty ends up upside down when activating his floatation device.
Why he got to do my favorite childhood movie like that 😭

It's just for fun dude

9:58 you’re telling me if two flies we’re on the champagne bottle cork then it wouldn’t lift them?
1 missed sin, why in the hell did the towns people trust Humpter over Puss given their history.
Another missed sin, why did the guards still try to arrest Puss at the end? HE LITERALLY SAVED THE TOWN!
Cinemasins is going to have their work cut out for them in the sequel.
I can find some sins like various "that's not how physics works", "Puss is a dick to ______", etc. But still, they're going to have to go full asshole mode to get a properly high sin total.
Betting at least 80% of the sins are gonna be nitpicks lmfao
The just right thing is definitely gonna be a sin with goldilocks
Please Do "Dora and the Lost City"
It was Awful but would make a great CinemaSins video
That movie is a huge load of "WTF"
It could have been a decent movie if they made it its own thing with nothing to do with Dora. Just about an exploror girl or something. My friends and I spent a whole five minutes fixing the plot lol.
1:19 that's what happens when the main characters name is the name of the movie.
4:19 How dare you sin this, his face and the cat in the background face were hilarious

I actually like this movie more than all the shreck movies
@@THORGATO can you stop spamming this to literally ANYONE who comments?
@dude bro bro how dare you
Wait no I think I might agree
Just remember that the movie was made like 9-10 Years Ago
13:21 While I would usually agree with you, there was an earlier moment when he took his hands out of the shackles meaning they were only in them because he wanted them to be.
With how many comments there are about that, maybe he just brought up something like that because he knows what he's doing. He's basically inciting RUclips comments to promote the algorithm for his videos by putting in an error he knows people will point out in droves before they can check to see if anybody else already has.
13:15 Jeremy, you LITERALLY cut out the scene that shows he was in the shackles VOLUNTARILY, THAT WAS THE JOKE.
Yooo, this is one of my favourite movies I watched as a kid! This was great!
Watch his show. Its better
I am going to start calling people "narcissistic omelettes"
I had the same idea lmao
I can only Imagine How Many Sins Would had Alpha and Omega
You know it's a good movie when the length of the vid is under 17 mins
Just to clarify one of the sins: the Jack escaping thing wasn’t unprecedented. During the dialogue between Jack and Puss, Jack’s hands slip out of the shackles when he goes, don’t say his name!’ Proving he could have gotten out of them at any time and decided not to lol.
"CinemaSins makes an ''Everything Wrong with Puss in Boots'' video FIVE YEARS after Lover Of Green's video about the exact same topic."
* Ding *
“Ohh ohh yolk me baby” 9:30😂😂😂
I'm adding a hundred sins for the fact that when my family and I went to see this movie, this family came in and sat right behind us even though the whole damn rest of the theater was empty.
1:47 This is true even irl. Although it was over a decade ago, I still remember when I got my dad to jump rope with me, and, after a few jumps, his pants fell down, and it started raining immediately afterwards.
