Braethorn, I just wanted to pop in and say that I bought one of the PC's you custom built through CyberpowerPC that fit my budget probably a little over a year ago. I had been watching a lot of your videos to learn more about specs and those kinds of things, and then you came out with that video. As someone who is not super well versed in the PC space and all the terms, it made my year. I needed to show my appreciation, because my wife just got me a desk I was wanting for my birthday to really complete my gaming room/office, and I am still beyond happy with the tower you took the time to create for your community. I just wanted to make sure you get a small dose of the appreciation you deserve for those of us who aren't near as technologically gifted as you are, so I hope you see this amidst all the other comments you receive. -Sincerly, some RUclips dude :)
I just got mine today. So far so good. Packaging was outstanding. Everything was connected correctly and managed nicely. I'll pop in occasionally and update if anyone wants.
Bought the Horizon II Ultra for my first PC. Probably should've went with something cheaper but wanted to get something I wouldn't have to upgrade for a while. Their customer service is awesome. I had a question about shipping before ordering, and they gave me an answer within hours. I put my order in Sept. 7th. Projected delivery was Sept. 24th - Oct. 2nd. My PC got delivered on the 20th, which was a few days earlier than expected!
I am planning on buying the voyager elite. I have built like 13 PC and picked parts for many others. I don't wanna build anymore and I also don't want to front that much money. I am a game developer and I want the too teir :D When you can how is it? Software/any bloat? Would you recommend it?
@thomgizziz somebody priced these out, maybe different but apparently you get fairly close to a self built PC. I have built many and I priced it by memory and I get close and of course I expect them to add a few hundred for brand.
I love your SIW videos because of how in depth and thorough you are in reviewing these system integrators. Looking forward to the return of your streams on Twitch and also congrats on 30k subs!
I was literally about to buy the horizon 2 elite and there was no shipping time I did see somewhere on another website it takes 5-6 weeks that might hold me back I’m on vacation now and would prefer to have it before I go back to work and the expedited shipping costs another $300 just to take off at least a week I really want a star forge but do NOT want to wait that long I get they may be building a lot of pc’s but come on just over a month minimum that’s insane
I've been looking to buy a prebuilt from Starforge for a while now, and I always trust your opinion Braethorn! Thanks for your review, as always!! :D Oh, and I, for one, would love to see you visit the Starforge facility
I bought the Creator Elite last week. Customer service has been awesome so far. They are polite, kind and very responsive / thorough. This is my first SI purchase. I normally always build my own. But I love these creators and community - and I just simply did not want to build a PC again. The lead time they gave me was 3-4 weeks. But they shipped in 9 days. It arrives tomorrow and im stoked to be gaming in 4k. Edit: After the purchase, they will ask you to verify your identity. I thought that was very responsible.
@@stagewaste Its been perfect - no issues. 4k gaming on everything 144 fps is insane Starforge also followed up with me last week to check on the system too - idk if any pc company has that kind of follow thru
Brae! Thanks fer doing these, I've been learning a lot on compatible system components. Pointing out key bits on what works with what, and things that should be standardized really helps out for new builders and people looking to buy assembled machines alike! Hava good one.
I was looking at the voyager elite and I also did a price comparison if I built it myself. It’s about 800 difference but I’m not gonna break any parts so I think I’m going with the voyager.
I got the Voyager Creator pro should be here tomorrow. I will say there customer service has been outstanding. I ordered it about a week and half ago the only reason I haven't gotten it yet is because I want to see it built on stream but they reached out and told me that they wasn't doing any more builds until the week of October 9
I got the elite 6 months ago, gpu power supply cable failed, a case fan is now failing. Might have an issue with the motherboard and ram. Gotta ship it back now for repair. Unhappy currently with the situation after spending over 4k to now deal with this. Just want to be transparent with my situation, not trying to dawg the company.
@@Vengy_ yes, after shipping it back, they fixed the ram the cpu was replaced for being faulty as well and the gpu power cables. I guess I got unlucky and my pc had several issues with it. But now that it’s back, it’s been working fine.
That Lunarian Limited Edition is nice. Exact AMD build I have been looking at and that case is beautiful. To bad I missed out on it. Hopefully, like you said they add the build in general to their lineup even if it has a different case.
If everyone knew how to build a pc, prebuilt pcs wouldn’t be a thing anymore. But because most people are not tech savvy, these companies exist to help those people with good service and warranty. I wouldn’t trust myself or someone else who never built a pc in their life try to build a pc. They or I could break something or buy a part that is not compatible. What I like about starforge is that they are accountable and they listen to criticism. Linus’ criticism of their pc was listened by the owner of the company, Asmongold, and worked on the criticism. They are probably the one of the best prebuilt pc companies in terms of their transparency and accountability.
I'm super terrified of spending that much on components and then borking the build and frying something before I even get to try it. I'm personally thankful that companies like these exist for people like me. I put together one of their horizon builds on pcpartpicker and I didn't beat their price by a huge margin. I would say their pricing is more than fair to have their machine shipped to your door, ready to go and with a two year guarantee that I wouldn't have if I'd built it myself. Especially being that I don't trust myself to build a PC and have it last two days, much less two years.
Just purchased a Voyager Creator the one with the I7 and 4070ti. I’m a 1440p gamer so I feel like this will max me out on all new titles as well as provide quite a bit of longevity.
When they first started the price for what you got wasn't too bad especially compared to some prebuilt companies... then 40 series came out lmao. Less for more i guess. I checked some time ago tho.
Would Streaming VR games With a CPU of 13600k be Good? Or would It be Nessisary for have a 13900 CPU? (I am really considering investing into getting a Sentinel Star Forge Computer for little edits and Vr Gaming and streaming.)
This is what's really driving me nuts is a lot of the SIs only offer AMD graphics on entry-level systems. The only two that I know of that offer high end AMD cards are Meta and Falcon. Everywhere else oops sorry you are stuck over paying for a 40 series.
I am in the market for a gaming PC. I love all your videos!!! I have really learned alot just from watching your videos. I hope to pull the trigger soon. Keep up the hard work!!!
If the voyager Creator had a 4080 I would buy it in a heartbeat, that 4070 ti in a 3k build just doesn't make sense. I have all the parts picked out for $2500 4080 build but I would have been willing to pay a extra $500 for guaranteed safety and a properly built system. I hope they change that to a 4080, I'm saving up rn.
Dude this is my first time seeing your channel and thumbnail from my recommended and you look like rich from review tech USA and Jays2cents. Not trying to be mean just an observation.
Starforge is absolute garbage. Don't need a 40 minute video on it. Two systems shipped to Linus that are defective, and mediocre to negative reviews all on the internet. Except for their site those fake reviews they made are top!
