The truth is Asantefuo in general are enlightened. I mean they have been Civilised for a long time, all their towns are livable and proportionally neat.

We need Jamasi Township. The following people are from Jamasi. former kotoko chairman Yaw Bawuah, Allen Gyimah . Kuffour's Chief of staff Mpiani, PNDC Rawlings's chief of staff Col. Baryeh. The King of Jamasi installed the first ever Asantehene. Nana Adu Gyamfi enstooled Osei tutu as Kumasihene in 1699 or 1700. Adu Gyamfi Secondary School in Jamasi won the Ashanti regional soccer championships for 4 consecutive years. The famous Mampong scarp is actually at Jamasi. The Ashanti Regional School for the deaf is at Jamasi. The silver stool went to Mampong instead of Jamasi because of some historical events.
