I really not sure why Toyota change Express Lane to this TMX setup? With my Toyota experience in Express Lane which was mixture between Toyota and Chrysler (the auto group made sure we did it that way): one person can perform all those duties by them self and STILL get it done in 35 minutes or less. Its going to be matter in time when auto groups complain to TMC for lube techs on the job injury with that horrible idea of removing lugnuts on the ground like that or reinstall wheels sky high like that.
I mist say being a mastertech for over 15 years @ MB it is an extremely bad idea for 2 separate techs to put vehicle on the lift, thats a hazard waiting to happen
Give or take the experience of the techs. It happens (being a toyota lube tech myself) but when the process is followed carefully and to a tea, mistakes are less prone, especially with the newer processes they're implementing
Louis Fields I prefer these to the four post. Lifts and lowers faster, easier to set up, and more room to get in and out of the car. These are some of the best lifts you can get
On what planet is this dealership? They don’t perform any of these inspections. I once brought my Toyota for the complementary service and marked my tires to see if they rotate them. They don’t. This is complete BS!
@@noahmotley4306 All I was doing is pointing out the terrible service I get from the Toyota dealerships in my area. Your probably one of the lackies who knows nothing about Toyota other than when is your next cigarette break you ass!
@@noahmotley4306 Typical responses from a Toyota technician. I can see how Toyota values it’s customers. Let me know when you get promoted to oil changes. Jerk
@@tomfrenza8049 if your shop didn’t rotate the tires then it’s on the technicians not Toyota. Of course if that happened where I’m at then it would have been handled accordingly. Just stating the fact that this is all routine at the Toyota Dealer I work at including the complementary tire rotate as long within Toyota care
Dealership Service dept are a big money maker for dealerships. Consumer beware. Be familiar with your cars service times/read your car owners manual. Not the most exciting read but it will help you from bein taken advantage of. Not all places are looking to up sale you for an extra buck but you don't want to pay for a service your car may actually need at the time.
so clean, not in the real world
You have a great wife too
They do exactly the same as shown in the video above I work for Toyota
Why I'm watching this. Hopefully I have a job at my local dealer!
@@cameron2849 we do pretty much all of that, and we also do tire repairs and batteries.
@@andybub45 we do that plus warranty

We do it in our express lane, never have any issues.

IM AM BEING FORCED TO WATCH THIS, WE DONT EVEN DO THIS STUFF LMAO
POV: You want to be a lube tech at a Toyota dealership
POV: I am a loober goober and we’re having a meeting at 6:30am on a Saturday to watch this video.
Make sure that a TMUSA does not try to upsell you. "Wiper inserts" are available and much cheaper than wiper blades.
To hell with being a service advisor, you couldn’t pay me enough to do that again
Clean and orderly. Very nice.
POV: Brian and Aaron working on your car
I would never trust there lifts. 2 post four out arms are the way to go

me i only trust duct tape and dental floss to lift cars with
These are all lies, where I worked. We only had one tech per service lane. And expected to be done in 15mins.
Not all dealers go by this recommended standard. They aren't liars they just suck
Hmm
no body does that haha
@@krw8461 by the way Im not a tech anymore hahaha
@@krw8461 I got tired of dealing with customers, and then I applied for law enforcement hahaha
DOVAWIRL Why is the fender cover not used? And not two people?
Nobody services the car? Well that’s a problem
The customers and advisor expect 20 or less and that’s with one tech for express service is not the advisor get a bad review

I work for Toyota and we do exactly all of these steps plus more in TXM in 30 mins or less. You sound like a moron.

none of that happen here in USA
Actually it does
Unnecessary inspections
That's too much
No it’s not. When a customer comes into the shop they expect their car to leave flawless.
yeah in third world countries they are not necessary
Wear helmet when you inspect vehicle under body
