  • In this video, I have demonstrated how to analyze and interpret Likert Scale Data as Interval or Scale Measure in SPSS, giving full details of the best analytical approaches, such as performing Descriptive Statistics and Independent Sample T- Test as a parametric test statistic, after the condition of normality was shown in two different ways to be satisfied.
The content of this video is detailed and comprehensive, and the demonstration has been simplified to the grassroots and you are hereby advised to see or watch this video to the end and share this video for others to also benefit.
After you have seen this video, you should be able to perform the analysis of your own Likert Scale data in SPSS and interpret it as appropriate.

I need to measure prevalance of stigma with the help of the likert questions!,
Ive got 12 elements in a 5 point likert scale,,
    ,
And the final interpretation will be done as
    low stigma
    Moderate stigma
    And high stigma
What i wanted to do was sum their answers,
0 will be the smallest value while 48 will be the largest value,,
These values will be divided into 3 ntiles,, 1st will be low stigma , 2nd will be moderate stigma and 3rd will be high stigma,,,
Can i analyse the likert question this way?,, or do i sum the mean scores and divide the total mean scores into ntiles?

Thank you for interesting lecturing, but I have been confused with computing Likert Scale Data as interval Data You give clue on this lecture. So How can I use likert scale data as regressor or independent predictor for regression analysis

How do i determine whether likert scale should be analysed as interval scale or ordinal scale?

    • @TitocanMarkSolutions
      @TitocanMarkSolutions  3 месяца назад +1

The type of data you have determines the choice of analysis. Once you understand the scale of measurements of your Likert dataset, then you should be able to know what to do accordingly . Or would you like me to produce a video to demonstrate what scale of measurements are? Thank you.

sir why you added 0.1 in every lower limit of disagree. neither agree strongly agree

    • @TitocanMarkSolutions

Every lower limit is the beginning of a new range. So, 0.1 added to the next lower limit distinguished it from the last upper limit. Thank you.
