  • After leaving the Namkwa 4X4 Eco Trail we travel +- 500km to Rocherpan Nature Reserve. This is a Cape Nature reserve on the west coast situated between Lamberts Bay and Velddrif. It is a small reserve with a pan, which was unfortunately dry at the time.
This is the last video in this series. So look out for any new videos in the future.

Well done Grant and Dee for this interesting and entertaining series. Great filming, audio and narration doing justice to the wonderful sights and sounds of this area. Appreciation for all the work entailed to share these journeys with us, from Frances.

Hi Grant, hope to find you well. I have seen the video on the roof rack and tent see you have a loading system as well. Did you remove the 3rd row of seats and is it your standard suspension of do you have an aftermarket suspension. Thank you much appreciated

Hi Jan. Yes I had the 3rd row of electronic seats removed. The 2 drawer system fitted perfectly into the space. This also left enough top space to fit a 90lt National Luna fridge / freezer on a drop down slider. Hopefully this will help you. Regards

hi Grant, did you keep the prado suspension or did you also upgrade. Thanks Jan

Sorry Jan. To answer your question about the suspension. I am still using the original suspension. We have found that there is no need to use an aftermarket product. On all our travels, and some in serious off road conditions, we have never had a problem. The Prado suspension is a serious 4x4 piece of equipment. Good luck if you are considering converting a Prado, you won't regret it.
