Thanks Alex. Kraalbaai is absolutely stunning. You were very lucky to have the opportunity to stay on one of the original houseboats. Unfortunately the operators now are not maintaining them very well, especially with the price tag. Barring that, still had a great time. Yes, a bit of drone footage with permission 😄

😄It is an amazingly beautiful part of South Africa. Those rock arches will most probably collapse one day. But hopefully not for another 100 years or so. But, hey, wild camping is not for sissies.

Hi Meryl. Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately you are correct about the maintenance and housekeeping on the house boats. I am sorry that this spoilt the experience for you and your guests, because apart from that the beauty of the area is awesome. I did mention in the video that they need to do something about the maintenance and cleanliness of the boats. So I am surprised that 3 months after we were there it is still an issue and possible getting worse - so sad. My daughter did sent a formal complaint, but never received a reply. Maybe you should do the same. Thanks again for your review.

Hey Schalk. Thanks for your comments. Yes, I do have trouble with sound at times, especially with wind. It is unfortunate, as I don't have top end equipment. Hope you continue watching though. I have also started to do voice over on some of the really bad tracks. Hope it helps.

Hi Jan. Yes I had the 3rd row of electronic seats removed. The 2 drawer system fitted perfectly into the space. This also left enough top space to fit a 90lt National Luna fridge / freezer on a drop down slider. Hopefully this will help you. Regards

Sorry Jan. To answer your question about the suspension. I am still using the original suspension. We have found that there is no need to use an aftermarket product. On all our travels, and some in serious off road conditions, we have never had a problem. The Prado suspension is a serious 4x4 piece of equipment. Good luck if you are considering converting a Prado, you won't regret it.

Thank you. Indeed a beautiful country. Birds were scarce, a few small ones. The water birds also limited because river water flowing too fast. Did hear the legendary Fish eagles.
