Hi, I am Kailash-Kaur Bedi, the eldest granddaughter of Jit and his beautiful wife Isha-Ali Seesahai, daughter of Zora Seesahai-Bedi. Thank you for sharing this memory. I remember with great affection, Ajit Praimsingh and his tremendous contribution in promoting and highlighting Trini-Indian culture especially song and instrumentation …. hence the “Mere Desh” awards. In the early 80’s I had produced and presented a programme for ttt entitled “Your Culture:My Culture” in which I highlighted amongst many other things, my grandfather’s significant contribution and Sholay’s recording of this song with my grandfather’s orchestra “Jit Seesahai and the Melody Makers”. I believe the recording was done by Balroops Recording Studio. Thank you again for sharing this precious memory. 🙏🏼
@@kailashbedi3404 Greetings 🙏 Thanks for your valued comment🙏 I would love to see that wonderful production you've mentioned, namely "Your Culture My Culture" 😊🙏 It's great that you also mentioned Mr. Aberjeet whom I used to communicate with and he would be very passionate in discussing his plans concerning where he would've loved to see his culture headed... I prayed that God's Will... Will indeed be done 🙏👍 I would like to know more about your Dad's musical career🙏 I may or may not have a 78 RPM record or so that he and his group recorded when Decca Records came & made Recordings in Trinidad 🙏 Blessings to you and your family 🙏😊👍
Jit Seesahai, an incredible musician and maestro... the 1st saxophonist in TNT.. I have now come to know the crossover of this song by Sholay. Gotta love TNT old style contributions. 👍🎶🎼🎹🌹🌹❤❤❤❤ Peace jjjjj
