Shark ( Nash) is stronger then kaito and maybe he is the strongest duelists from zaxil
Fun fact: The only times Shark lost in the whole show were against Yuma and Kaito, which are part of the main trio. He litterally never lost to anyone else.

@@WelahManyeah but looking at it there weren't a lot of fair duels between the two. In their first and fourth ones, he was possessed and not really himself. In their fifth one, he didn't use his numbers because it was a friendly match. The only duel where they truly went all out was their last

@@WelahMan Yuma lost fair and square most of the duels he's actually lost. Shark got annihilated by Kaito in a fair duel, too... Kaito never lost in a fair duel, though, that is for sure

Kite suffers from hand disadvantage in the Zexal anime, so the best Duelist IMO in the anime is definitely Shark. He has so much water support cards compared to the others who have a mishmash of monsters, spells, and traps. And the ones who do have archetype decks dont have very good decks. Shark for the win.

@@neonoah3353 no way. Kaito had to worry about a million things while duelling mizael and he still beat his ass. While on the fricking moon. Shark/nash could barely take vector who yuma shitted on a good 40 episodes earlier. And now Kaito would have prime photon dragon and galaxy eyes AND neo galaxy eyes. At the end of the show, the ONLY person who could even think about taking Kaito is Yuma, and that’s only through zexal

Not to mention Don Thousand made Mizael look like a joke and Kite barely managed to beat him meanwhile Nasch not only beat Don Thousand but also absorbed his powers and all the other Barians on top of that including Mizael. Not to mention Kite has only dueled early season Yuma and would've lost to end of series Yuma.
End of Series Shark and Yuma would make Kaito look like a joke.
@@Honest_Mids_Masher Don thousand rewrote reality. An external thing to duelling. Mizael literally would’ve beaten him, however in terms of general power, don thousand had more and was subsequently able to bullshit his way out of it. Shark beat don thousand with Yuma and with the help of Kaito as well (his card or something if I remember correctly). Kaito duelled Yuma after he beat Tron and after astral said he didn’t even need him anymore to help with duelling. Kaito was on a different level to everyone for the majority of the show and as I said; it’d take Yuma along with astral to defeat him by using zexal. Don’t forget that Kaito drew with astral and astral has no evidence of progression as a duellist. Whereas we know for a fact Kaito gets stronger.

@@neonoah3353I mean astral drew with kaito like 20 episodes in, so I think that he beats shark up until right at the end with shark in his full barian, don thousand infused form in the last 5 or so episodes. And I think that kaito goes beyond reach after his and yumas duel in episode 72

The problem with don thousand is that all of his cards read like the most BS pieces of cardboard you’ve ever read, so I don’t think placing him lower on the list is necessarily unreasonable.
Quatro the nerve of this guy number 4 is my specal number my name ain't quatro for nothing and now I find out number 4 is some over hyped barrian? Not cool

Don thousand is ranked too low. People often forget context and how unbeatable he truely is in Zexal.
Took the 4 main characters in the series, in their prime, combining all of their skills, numbers and power to defeat him and only won before of double or nothing.
You also forget that Numeron Spell Revision makes it near impossible to take him down.
okay honestly this is an okay list i mean i can’t complain about it everyone has their opinions
1. Kite (favourite deck, favourite duelist)
2. Shark (Strong duelist, nice plot twist)
3. Astral (too defensive, IMO better than Yuma, I know I know execute me)
4. Don Thousand (good duelist, nothing special)
5. Vector (kind of weak as his alter ego)
But if we’re talking as a character, then Vector would be above Don Thousand. Cuz come on! He did more work than Don Thousand. It was to the point where we thought the main antagonist in ZeXal II was him and NOT Don Thousand. So yeah

@@cozzillagaming1869 that’s exactly why Kaito is a better duellist. Don thousand rewrote the card. That’s not fuelling skill, that’s just being a cosmic entity. If we go off of actual skill, Kaito has way more and is by definition, the better duellist

Don thousand looks strong was solely because of him possessed one hell of broken deck. As a duelist he is barely mediocre so this list pretty legit.

Honestly, I wish I can put Shark upon Kaito, because I HATE Kaito and Shark is my fav character, but I should admit his stronger than Shark.

@@wajedangin6990 of course man. We like to keep things civilised around here 😊. But I think that part of Yuma’s journey is that he is chasing after kite ‘the number hunter’ and especially quite early on into the season, you see how that affects and drives him and at the end, when they duel don thousand, you can feel them duelling together as if equals now. But that’s just my take anyway

Why? Yuma beat all of the characters on this list (Except Kaito). Watch ZeXal II and you'll understand what I mean. Yuma gets so much better as a duelist.

Think about it: he lost 30+ times in a row to Bronk, a guy who unironically use Ufo Turtle.
Yuma in the first episode didn't even known what a defense position monster was and canonically this wasn't his first duel! thanks to some flashback it was stated that Yuma started to duel years before the episodes and in all of that time he never learned the basics of a childrens card game.
If you are 13 and you need an interdimentional ghost to explain you the basics of a game for 6+ years old because you couldn't learn them in years of playing in a world where everything revolves around it then ther is a very big problem.
Also if you toock away the number monsters from his deck (they don't belong to him but to Astral): his deck is unplayable, untill the very last episode his only Xyz monsters are Cowboy gagaga, Heroic Champion Excalibur (it also don't belongs to him), Baby Tiregon and the Dijins (witch are all pretty terrible).
Also he has no strategies in duel, his only strategy is summon Utopia and hope for the best. Imagine to have almost all of the number monsters, with litherally no extra deck restrictions and still being obsessed with summoning Utopia. He canonically has number 16: Shock Master and Number 11: Big Eye, two of the strongest monsters of the Xyz era and he never use them even if his deck is perfectly capable of summoning every rank 1 to 8 Xyz monster and not just the rank 4 ones. E even lost a duel against shark because of his obsession with Utopia.
Every time Yuma duels Astral is the one who make all the works thelling Yuma witch strategy he has to use (an also giving him Utopia witch is basically the only number Yuma is able to use). Yuma heavly rely on Astral and Utopia until his very last duel and only then he decides to get good at dueling alone purly for plot reasons.
So no, someone who don't know the basic rules of the game, rely only on others strategyes and cards that don't belongs to him, struggles with basic math and sometimes doesn't even know what some of his cards do can't be called a good duellist unlike every other duelist who already knows how to duel and how to build a deck.
Even with F0 he is not that big deal😂

Yes, he starts out relying on utopia but you can visibly see him grow out of it and learn to utilise more of his deck, rather than just streamline 2 level fours. You can see his game iq grow and evolve and soon its Yuma telling astral, rather than vice versa. And the time he spent in astral world, definitely helped with this. He was the most growth out of anyone in yugioh from a duelling sense.
