The ramp could be an interesting piece to do a creative parts use challenge like you did with those other odd pieces
Brick Artisan has a bunch of MOCs that the the ramps as material for modular building walls. It's pretty creative!
My grand-kids love the speed bumps! I managed to pick up 4 boxes for 44 euros so that's great value.
That is a sweet feature for kids!
The yellow speedbumps could maybe be used to make a roof. Vertically placed might look good, but you'd need to play around to see.
The ramps are usefull to smoothly blend the road pieces with a railroad crossing.
When are we going to get a sock sorting video?
Oh boy that would be a long video.
Oh hello there, 5 minutes ago!
Yeah, I hear ya about buying from Amazon. Even with all it's issues, and how far it has gone downhill (those aliexpress-level item names, yikes...), it's still sometimes the best option. Which really speaks to how bad a lot of other companies are at making an online store, rather than any particular quality of Amazon...
Lol yeah it's one of those neccesary evils.
A few months ago, Amazon had these for $15.99. I procrastinated and the price jumped back up again. Hoping they drop the price again.
Let me know if they do.
So pick a brick does have the 8 x 16 x 2/3 plate (the crosswalk) without the printing, they run about $3 USD each. So if you really need more, that might be worth considering. Not as cheap as just getting the kits, I know, but might be worth it.
I bought a couple of those unprinted half roads on there too. Very useful piece.
Thanks for letting me know I will check that out
Stop signs are very rare, they do exist but if you see one there is a huge reason, people have repeatedly died at that junction for them to put a Stop sign. Give Way signs are 1000 times more common, and the rules are different.
Good to know. We have them everywhere her in the states.
You can buy the road plates on lego bricks and pieces online including the blank half plates!
Good morning bricks
Good morning! 😄
Would you consider using an eraser to get the crosswalk off the road plates
Never thought of that. Does it work well?
@@bricksculpt Try a small part first, I wanted to erase a large window and gave up pretty quickly.
I love building small dioramas on 16x16 bases. I've tried baseplates, large plates, wall-art-style plates, but never on those roads yet. Maybe it wouldn't be worth it.
Was already hoping from the title you would finally start using non-LEGO bricks.
Lol I was hoping some would think that 🤪
