    The difference between Johnny and Oliver is that even though Johnny is a killer, you can see that he's clearly struggling himself and is not happy with his lifestyle. As for Oliver, he's a true psychopath who gets pleasure in killing people.

    • @Bloooo95
      @Bloooo95 Год назад +18

      Yep. That’s why Johnny “can’t measure up.” Oliver was a calculating, vindictive psychopath that had a pure love of killing. Johnny was a disturbed sociopath.

    She was right, his dad never loved him. He saw him as a thropy and a future experiment. Lana did gave her son a chance to a better life or to at least grow up better. If she woudl have raised him they would have both felt the pressure of hating the traumatic past în The background. Seeing how her son made the same wrong choices as his father made her realize he îsn't redemable. By that time it was too late for him, he was too unstable and damaged. Many people say she was cold and cruel here, but i think she was actually murceful, not only for him but for his future vitims too. She did the right thing. Also, i knew she recogknized him since she started the confession. It felt like she was preparing her defence în a way.

    I dare to say that I am speaking for the biggest part of the fanbase that THIS season finale (and the whole season) is by far the best of the show. No other surpassed Asylum and I think, unfortunately, that none will, not even 1984 that comes to an end this week. A pity that after Coven, the seasons were very weak in plot and they always mess up after the half, especially Freak Show and Apocalypse.

    always thought this was kinda cold.. but she couldn't give him the answers he needed or do him any good he was damaged goods and she gave him a mercy killing instead... best season ever.. it had a very moving horrifying story with the richest character development ... i hate that fans complained about this masterpiece "wahhh wahhh it was too disturbing..too depressing" shut up! it was PERFECTION.. if social media hadn't whined about it so much maybe they would have made more seasons like this instead of those dreadfully cheesy, campy, annoying dialogue teeny bopper idiotic seasons that came later .. the show really went down the crapper :( season 1, 2, and 4 were masterpieces of perfection. I did really like season 5 but only cuz of liz and james patrick march..but it lacked soul and wasn't like the first 2 seasons and most importantly the characters weren't likeable it was hard to care for them and have sympathy unlike season 1,2, and 4.

    I don’t get why Lana killed him once she had the gun. What’s he gonna do? She could have just kept him there and tried to get him taken to a mental hospital which he clearly needed. I’m not excusing what he did he was violently insane but as evil and fucked as he was I still kinda feel like Lana owed it to her son to at least get him therapy or something. Idk.

      There was no redeeming him. He is his father's son to the core, and he would have kept killing to justify his feelings, just as Oliver did before him. She never truly wanted her son to begin with, as he was a product of her being raped, but she couldn't go through with the abortion either. The thing about her son was that his feelings were ultimately unfounded, so he was killing for basically no reason aside from imagined slights. For all the evil he did, she couldn't let him live, just like she couldn't let Oliver live either.
